The owner of this restaurant is not interested in the cleanliness of his business or any of his rental properties. I can’t even imagine how disgusting the kitchen is in this place, I know the food that comes out of it is. He doesn’t care if his rental property is full of mold while 5 children and a pregnant woman lives there. A mold remediation company wanted $10,000 to fix all the issues, but he refused to pay that. Instead he replaced $200 worth of insulation and sprayed the black mold with vinegar.
I would never eat at this restaurant again now that I know the owner on a personal level. He does not care about the safety of any of his customers or tenants. The authorities really need to get involved in this guy’s life because he is actively putting people’s health in jeopardy. I’ve contacted the health department multiple times and am just waiting on a response.

I went and asked for the student steal deal and didn’t get it because the cashier assumed it was a regular sandwich while eavesdropping on my conversation with my friend. I then asked to be charged for the student steal deal instead the employee gave me attitude about it. They then forgot my onion rings and gave us attitude when we asked for them saying “that’s what they said” to the kitchen when they asked if they were forgotten. I go to Albie’s all the time as a student but this will be my last as the staff here were very rude and condescending. I am extremely disappointed in how this was handled.

Had a work lunch from there today. I have never been so disappointed from a salad in my life. The salad was mostly croutons and incredibly dry chicken. You can tell the chicken was pre cooked, then put on a flat top to warm up. During this process, the chicken became dry as shoe leather. Definitely will not be eating here again.

If you order a Greek salad be prepared to receive a 2 dollar chef salad with a minimal amount of feta and be charged 15 dollars for it. If you have any critique to lend be ready to be met with a lackluster attitude about the specifications of the menu leaving much up to the imagination with the next to nothing descriptions speaking for themselves.

A wide selection of wraps, sandwiches and burgers. Check out the “phat” sandwich options. Your taste buds will thank you, but your arteries may not. Staff are friendly. I have had take out from here often and have always received the order on time and correct.
If you want great value, give burger madness a try. Buy one burger platter and get the second one for $6.99 (at time of posting.)

By far the best food at URI and clean! Food is fantastic, delivery is fast, and you get exactly what you ordered ! Their menu is huge and fabulous. Seriously, you can get a fresh grilled chicken salad or a phat albie wrap! No wonder this place is always steady and has been there over 30 years!
