Unbeknownst to me, my bank decided to close out my debit card in lieu of switching from Discover to MasterCard. They shut off my card with no notice to me. I went to purchase some food from this Perry’s and after my debit card declined twice and my credit card as well, for some reason, the cashier/server bagged up the food and said it was on her. I’m a trucker and these last two weeks have been a nightmare with the mechanical issues my truck was having. I am greatly appreciative of this random act of kindness this particular cashier/server did for me. If the rest of the staff acts in this manner, any time I ever stop here again, I’ll be sure to patronize this Perry’s. Thank you from a very hungry and appreciative trucker!

First off just trying to get somebody to wait on you is a challenge. Secondly, Place could use a really good cleaning the front counters for breaded chicken flakes all over the place and the warmer on the front counter was dirty with nothing in it. Finally, staff can’t stay off the telephone long enough to deal with making any food are helping a customer. If you have another Choice go there you’ll probably enjoy it more.

It’s okay, just a bit expensive for it’s chicken. They once sold green beans but no longer do at this location. I have witnessed some price changes on a few occasions and question the employees about it which I knew had nothing to do with it but it didn’t hurt to ask… Changed the price on the livers and grizzards also ( per dozen) but they soon went back to regular price after the affect was felt. It is a nice and clean place and the rest room is clean and smell fresh. I don’t know about the men room.

The chicken is pretty good, as long as you get some that is fresh. I often get pieces which are so dried out they are not edible. Can be very disappointing. Staff are okay. Often not behind the counter when entering. Selection of sides are minimal and again the food is often not very fresh. It has potential, but needs better management/attention to details to make it better.

If you get your chicken fresh here it is good but otherwise it will be tough and the breading will be falling off, or the biscuits will be old and dry. I tend to ask them to make my food fresh or I go when I know they will have just made it.
