Found this place through Google Reviews and decided to give it a try on our road trip. We were not disappointed! It was Father’s Day and the manager saw my husband holding our four year old’s hand while we were ordering our food at the counter. He greeted him and told him happy Father’s Day and genuinely talked with him about the joys of being a dad. Great customer relations. The food was amazing–fresh and full of flavor. If we lived closer, we would be back for sure!

What a lovely little place with gourmet coffees, teas, and great food! We really enjoyed the outdoor patio. We got fish tacos and a fabulous bacon brie burger requested lettuce wrapped and it was perfect.

I am becoming more and more disappointed with Huevos Rancheros. The one here is fine but it is not worth $12. The beans were bland, the rice had some flavor but is still unexciting, and the green chili sauce didn’t really do it for me. We might not have order it if the person taking our order didn’t rush us. We came in close to the hour when they change stop serving breakfast. The person taking our order said we could have breakfast if we hurry. So we did. And after looking closer at the menu we realized that we would have replaced with dish with another.

Unexpected coffee shop on the main road through town. The steak tacos were the best I’ve ever had, the steak tasted flavourful and the meal was very filling. Absolutely stop here for lunch and coffee!

Monticello is a small town with few choices of places to eat. Luckily Peace Tree is here otherwise there would be no good options. This place is great; from their morning coffee to evening burgers they have something for everyone no matter what preferences you have. I always eat here when I’m in town and you should too.
