What a fantastic place! Pasta was amazing! Ordered the cheese bread and garlic bread, both were delicious. This place is worth every penny. The special drinks were fantastic too. Everything is made on site and it shows. The specialty drink menu has a unbelievably tasty margarita.

We had the lasagna. Apparently it is only available on Wednesdays. Really good!! Also had the brussels sprouts. Wonderful! Large portions, reasonable prices. Good service. Definitely will visit again when traveling thru Hays.

Who knew? A gem of a place where it wasn’t expected. Great tasting food at a good value. I drive through town every now and then, but didn’t know about this place. Sat at the bar and I was well taken care of. Good bar tender. I’m defiantly eating there again.

The restaurant has decent atmosphere and the service was relatively quick. The food however was just terrible. The complimentary garlic bread wasn’t fresh at all. Ordered a fettuccine pasta with chicken and Alfredo sauce and the chicken just seemed really old, dry and reheated. And all this for 25 bucks.

Friendly server, he had some issues getting the wine orders correct. My lasagna was ok. Some of the other dishes were not quite what we were expecting. The chicken wasn’t cut like we had in other places. The food was filling, and restaurant had a nice atmosphere. Next time we come through, we’ll try it out again.

We have heard such mixed reviews from others regarding this restaurant. However, each time we have eaten here, we have been pleasantly surprised. The brussel sprouts appetizer is delicious. My wife ate an eggplant dish that was excellent. There is something about the atmosphere that holds me back from giving Pasta Jay’s 5 stars, but I can’t put my finger on it. My wife and I both feel that way.

Wow, stopped in for some pasta to go and paid $17 for 5 shrimp in maybe 1/3 full container of pasta… Don’t care how good it is, that’s way to much money for pasta.

Food was delicious! Spot on! Not one entree disappointed our table of seven. The service was good, atmosphere was nice and the portions were generous. Highly recommend as I’m not sure what the other reviewers are talking about when they say it’s inferior to Olive Garden, …..please. Well worth the money spent.

We decided to try this place since our favorite Italian place in town was closed. We will not be coming back here. Don’t get me wrong the building is great, the staff is friendly but the food is disappointing. For six people (2 adults 4 kids) the bill was $100.00. The only thing that came with our meal was bread (toasted sandwich buns drenched in garlic butter), soup or salad was extra if you wanted it. The portions are decent sized but lack in flavor. We ordered an appetizer (spinach and artichoke dip), it was ok not great. As in most places the manager or owner comes by to see how your experience was, not here. Sorry but we will keep going to Peter Mandy’s. We get more then we can eat there, it tastes amazing and I can feed my family of 6 for around $60.00.

The food was excellent and portions were appropriate. The house wine was also good. The atmosphere was cozy and welcoming. The only thing I didn’t care for was the bread, which was a baguette cut in quarters and topped with oil and garlic. For some reason it tasted like clams (others agreed). Otherwise the food was very good and I’m definitely going back.
