Parterre Restaurant and Bar is located in Downtown Richmond, adjacent to the Linden Row Inn. An intimate space, with a garden patio for outdoor seating, serving traditional southern dishes, hearty soups, salads, and sandwiches. Breakfast, lunch, dinner, and weekend brunch. A fully stocked bar serves a carefully selected array of wines, local craft beers, handcrafted cocktails, and serves Blanchard’s coffee. Brussel sprout entree was crispy, spicy, and way better than expected. Shrimp and grits with andouille sausage was creamy with just the right amount of spice in the sausage to offset the blandness of the grits. Smash burger was cooked to perfection and well seasoned. All portion sizes were perfect and our server Gaby was super attentive.

We had a delightful, upbeat and well crafted brunch! Just a pleasant time! A place that can actually poach an egg in Richmond….. Priceless! The French toast was wonderful. The goat cheese, arugula and tomato omelette was good. Not awesome. It fell a bit flat. A bit more shape, perhaps a bit of chive on top. By no means would I steer anyone away from ordering it. It just would have made the eating experience complete for our family.

Loved having brunch here! 9/10 across the board! I had the eggs Benedict (wish I got more of that sauce now☺️)and my sis got the brunch burger and cinnamon sugar donuts (didn’t come out hot though) It has such nice vibes and aesthetic.

Parterre is a hidden gem in Richmond. The brunch is delicious! Plenty of gluten free and vegetarian options! There is even a cute courtyard to enjoy when the weather is nice. I highly recommend making a reservation soon!

Came here for Sunday brunch around 1PM. They had seating indoors and a patio. We sat inside because of the heat. The indoor area is small, yet it has charm.

Would have rated 5 stars but the pork rinds were not crispy but more hard. My mouth was hurting after we tried eating it. Prices are also quite high for certain items like the pasta.

We stopped by the Parterre for breakfast on our way out of town. We were pleasantly surprised at how unique this restaurant was. We enjoyed their specialty coffee and breakfast entrées. They seemed to be short staff but everyone was on top of serving & were very pleasant! We enjoyed the eggs Benedict, breakfast burger & poached eggs were perfect! Definitely will return here.

All I can say is this place was AMAZING, a true hidden gem found by accident. Sarah, our waitress was phenomenal, and the managerial staff as well. Food was fabulous, and a great value for the portions. The strawberry mimosas an added plus! A must visit if you are in Richmond!
