This place is a hidden gem, probably the best Somali food I’ve had in Seattle. Get the goat plate I promise you won’t be disappointed. It’s not the bony chucks of previously frozen goat that most other places serve, this is the real deal. One of my favorite spots in the city

Hole in the wall kinda restaurant. They don’t have a menu, only have photos of the menu items. The person in there selling didn’t seem super comfortable with English, so it was hard to get our questions answered. We asked for the goat + rice, we were charged $22.

First time having Somalian food, and I wasn’t disappointed. The texture of the meat was succulent, full of different spices, and very spicy. Reccomend pairing it with cool mint tea. Parking is very limited in the lot, so it’s best to park nearby, and walk.

We were looking for a place to eat after 8pm and found this place. We were greeted with “ Welcome to Paradise” by the lady. No menu. They had chicken, goat, lamb with rice or spaghetti. We asked vegetables and stir fried lettuce came with it. We also received bananas. It was explained to us that Somali people eat bananas with their meals. Very interesting! They also had interesting looking soft drinks as well. We were not sure how much the meals would be….. I wish they had a simple menu though. People there were very friendly and the food was very good. There is a parking dedicated to this restaurant.

This was my first time here and I had a pleasant experience. If you come after dark, you have to knock on the door. The owner will let you in promptly with a greeting. There is no menu as another reviewer mentioned but there are pics and name of dishes. I got the #1, a goat dish with rice and salad and sambusa. Dishes are about $12-13 and sambusa are $1 and they are pretty big for à buck filled with meat and veggies, I think beef. You can watch TV while your wait. They have a spicy green paradise sauce and they are open until 2am everyday. It’s looks closed but it’s not. Everything was good and big portions enough for 2 meals and don’t forget your banana .

I love this restaurant. The food is so, so, so good! I drove from Auburn to eat here. It is a little hole in the wall, but some of the best East African food I have tasted. I love different cultural foods and when I find a diamond in rough, I like to let people know. Please try this place and I would be surprised if you do not love it! Goins

Hours of operation is prime. Location is out of your way unless your in the area. Free parking. Friendly personal. Food is good. Portions are the right size for a healthy standard. Prices are a little unsettling for the portions served. There is a small menu now but no prices printed. Not a clean place, pretty old and run down. In Photo a $12 meal.
