Idk what’s happening with Papa John’s crust or the quality of their ingredients, but it IS NOT THE SAME. Never, ever in my 39 years of life have I ever turned down a slice of Papa John’s. Until yesterday. I ordered a 14” original and received what I thought was a thin crust. Until the manager explained it actually was an “original”. Whew..! I requested a refund immediately, the taste is not the same. Idk what is happening but I’m gonna have to cross over to Pizza Hut. Btw.. the manager was super cool, very professional and understanding. Customer service was great, the actual pizza itself is the worst I’ve ever gotten from any papa John’s and I’ve lived up and down the entire east coast.

Manager will unprovoked talk shit with the back crew about you if you dare to delay them by repeating your name for pick up. Referencing a pick I made today where I repeated my name twice, and as I was leaving with my food the manager proceeded make rude comments about a normal interaction because I guess it was too tedious for him. I hadn’t yelled or was rude. I literally just got in and out in less than 30 seconds. The audacity to publicly make fun of a customer for a mundane interaction that could be called a misunderstanding at worst, was enough to piss me off. If this contributes to this guy getting fired I’ll be quite content, as I can see from other comments this isn’t the first time he’s done this.

During my visit on 1/3/26 at 5:45 PM the manager, Jose Arauz, was rude and disrespectful in his interaction with me. His behavior was unprofessional and not reflective of the level of customer service I expect from Papa John’s. In addition, my order was prepared incorrectly. While the pizza maker acknowledged that he was distracted, this does not justify the error nor the way I was treated as a customer.
I strongly believe that customer service goes a long way, especially when addressing mistakes. Unfortunately, this situation was handled poorly, and instead of a resolution, I was met with disrespect.
As a result of this experience, I will not be returning to or ordering from this location again. This decision is solely based on the conduct of manager Jose and how the situation was managed.
I felt it was important to bring this matter in an open forum. As we all
know employees and management are representatives of the brand, and this experience did not align with the values Papa John’s promotes.
Additionally after reading the reviews, I have noticed that Jose has a habit of treating people as he did to me. This behavior must be STOPPED by corporate.

Roll Bounce Party Rental
Found door dash delivery pop up as my pizza started to track late. Hour and a half later dash arrived. Box was cold, tip stayed on the counter. Opened and found flat drained sauce pizzas. Heated to eat only two slices from three pizzas. Horrible!

Ordered a pizza and half way through noticed a roach cooked into one of the slices. I called them to let them know and the manager immediately said “we don’t have roaches in this store.” After going back and forth he agreed to send a new pizza, which also had a roach on it. I was told the order will not be charged and was cancelled but we will see.

Website isn’t working and unable to place orders. I store was not helpful in honoring any promotions, person on the phone said if I can’t order online to use the promotions then I can’t place my order. Garbage customer service. This isn’t the first time, if I wrote all the other experiences this post would be ten pages long. This location needs new staff.

My order was subpar. I definitely was rubbed the wrong way when I realized that the cheese sticks crust was completely burnt. Also, the grilled chicken on the pizza was super dry. I guess that’s what I get when I use a coupon code on my order. I’ll only come here if I have a discount, because I rather just go to Little Caesars with my $5.

If I could do 0 stars I would. Do NOT order at this location they will give you old pizza. This was someone else order that they gave us. We ordered the stuff crust and it was so soggy. PLEASE DO NOT ORDER AT THIS LOCATION YOU WILL BE VERY DISAPPOINTED. I called and Store manager didn’t care at all. We placed our order online and it said ready in 14-24 we received a ready alert 5 minutes after we ordered. Now how is my pizza ready in 5 minutes definitely someone else order that never came to pick up.

Extremely horrible service and terrible overcooked food. I was told that they make their own rules and even if something is wrong with an order, they can refuse to fix it or issue a refund when a customer is unhappy. Workers that don’t care about their jobs or the customers. If I’m to single out the worker, Jay is his name, and to think this is who they have to manage the store. We as a people have to do better because of course I received a better experience in the short time dealing with who Jay called “the worker”, his name was Liam. Very polite, kind, and understanding. Jay on the other hand was very condescending, nonchalant, and topped it off using foul language when I asked for District Manager’s info to file a formal complaint. He refused to give me any info at all, I’m not even sure if Jay is his actual name. However, from the beginning he was very unapologetic regarding mistakes, zero accountability, and no professional attitude at all, just utterly disrespectful behavior. Completely unacceptable. I’ll definitely be having a conversation with Oscar the DM, as well as contacting corporate to file a formal complaint directly regarding rectifying these issues and handling him accordingly. If you like great happy service and always a hit, never a miss on the food – maybe just stick with Pizza Hut because I have never had a bad experience that wasn’t taken care of with attentiveness and professionalism there. Yes, I can understand mistakes happen or even misunderstandings, but I’ve never been handled with such disrespect, neglect, and overall disregard as a customer. I never even leave reviews but I’m very disheartened by my experience earlier tonight. Best regards to all reading.
