They seem under tagged and the whole atmosphere is bad and it starts with the staff. no one seems like they enjoy their job. it seemed like they were doing US a favor taking our money. No one up front to get a cup from, had to go look by the service are. The steak ciabatta was dry as hell and the fruit cup was terrible. sour blueberries and the cantaloupe pieces were hard except around the edges where it looked defrosted and old. i won’t be going back.

Food is over priced. I ordered the goddess chicken Cobb salad, and I kid you not, the meat tasted like bologne. The place was a ghost town when I walked in, no wonder. This was my 1st time eating at Panera. I seriously Don’t see how they are still in business

This place used to be ‘posh’ . It has lost it’s charm, went from 4.5* to Zero. Staff is refusing to comunicate when you asked about an order with status ‘ready 15-20’ minutes ago, rude staff all around front and back, food is sloppy and cold cuz jt was forgotten on some shelf somewhere. If I pay you almost $20 I definitely don’t need. A Baguette with some tomato on it!
Very sad!

The last 3 times I have used the drive through it has taken 15 minutes or more to get my food. This past time I also saw employees on their phones with their food service gloves still on. I don’t think they understand how easily you can see them through the window. They take far too long to acknowledge you at the drive through, they don’t apologize for any wait, and this past time they also got my order wrong. I won’t be going back. This was the worst service I’ve ever gotten at a Panera before.

I placed an order for a sandwich and specifically requested **no avocado** due to an allergy. However, when I received my order, avocado was still included. This is a serious issue, as food allergies are not just a preference but a health risk. Fortunately, I noticed before eating, but this kind of mistake could have had severe consequences.

Additionally, the overall customer service was lacking. The staff seemed uninterested, visibly irritated, and acted as though they didn’t want to be there. Rather than providing a welcoming experience, they made me feel like an inconvenience for simply placing an order.

I expect better attention to detail and professionalism from a brand like Panera. I hope this issue is addressed so that future customers do not experience the same level of frustration or, worse, a serious allergic reaction.

This location requires immediate leadership intervention.

On the evening of 1/15/2026 at approximately 7:25 p.m., I attempted to place an order at the drive-through. The manager on duty, identified as Ashley, addressed me by stating, “What do you want to order,” with no greeting, acknowledgment, or basic professional courtesy. There was no “hello,” no welcome, and no attempt at respectful engagement. This interaction was abrupt and dismissive, and not consistent with the standards expected of a manager.

Due to this behavior, I entered the store to request to speak with a manager. Ashley identified herself as the manager on duty. I calmly requested contact information for someone above her (owner, district manager, or corporate leadership) so that I could formally report ongoing customer service concerns at this location. I clearly stated my intent was escalation for corrective purposes, not confrontation.

Ashley refused to provide any escalation or leadership information, walked away mid-conversation, and returned with a re-printed receipt belonging to another customer, which she handed to me and stated was all she would provide. This was inappropriate and demonstrated a lack of accountability expected of store leadership.

During the interaction, she addressed me using an informal term after I had identified myself as Dr. Davis, and continued to do so despite correction. More troubling, she made an inappropriate and derogatory remark toward my 5-year-old daughter, who had just left urgent care nearby. I instructed my child to return beverages she was holding. This conduct crossed a clear professional boundary, particularly when interacting with a family and a minor.

This incident reflects a breakdown in leadership standards, customer service training, and escalation protocol. If unaddressed, it will negatively impact customer trust and retention in the Pearland market.

I am documenting this experience so that corporate leadership is aware and can take corrective action.

I ordered the bacon turkey bravo with a sliced apple before my road trip. As I was on the freeway, I opened my togo bag and realized I shouldn’t have trusted Panera. The sandwich was slapped together with minimal meat and no cheese, and the apple looks like it was sliced 2 days ago. It also took almost 12 minutes in the empty dried thru to get my food. I guess I should have taken that as a sign not to go. Lessoned learned. I’ll never be returning to Panera again.

We came here back in January. Just wanted a quick bite to eat and just so happens, my stepdaughter loves to eat at Panera Bread . Great Food, Good Service, Nice Atmosphere. I’ve never had a problem with a single Panera Bread location. But from what I hear, stay clear from that Chard Lemonade (if they still have it). I heard a rumor that it has twice the daily caffeine in it that you’re supposed to have.

The food was good but the lady at the window this morning was extremely rude for no apparent reason. I even smiled and said thank you and she cut me off and shut the window. I definitely won’t be coming back again. If you have genuine hate towards others you really shouldn’t be working at a drive-thru window
