Stopped by for lunch to grab salad and soup, came through drive-through. When I left, I ended up with totally different order. When I returned to address the issue, I was faced with Dan the manager. He was upset that I am complaining about not having all the ingredients on my salad (that I paid for) and that I’m complaining that I received a different soup than what I ordered. As a manager his way of addressing my concern was by taking the salad back, ripped pieces of salami, and threw on the salad and brought it to me and gave me a cup of soup. Dear Panera, you might want to reconsider your management team in this location. I did return to the store in person and asked for my money back. Definitely will not be back.

Asked the name on the order and made me wait an additional 15 minutes to get 1/2 sandwich….fine….see picture of said sandwich ….all mishaped and with barely any protein strategically placed on one corner. And ‘forgot’ to give me the bread and croutons for the soup.

This is a very unpleasant dining experience. I have visited this store many times before, and I have never tried that the staff’s service attitude is so bad. Today, I went into the store to order food by myself. Unfortunately, the type of bread I chose was sold out. I was going to ask the staff (Name: Guadalupe)if he had a good recommendation. Who knows that the staff ignored me and went to greet other guests? I thought, forget it, I will order it myself! Then I went to the drink bar and poured a coke for myself. Then the staff with bad service attitude came over and said to pay for the coke. Then I asked him if my meal was not for coke.He said no, I said drinks are not provided for free? He said that only water was provided free of charge. (But I don’t see any water on the drink bar. Where is the water?)I said that there is no note on the wall that only water is free. It is indeed suspected that you have misled consumers by putting the drink cup here. In case the customer drinks, you can also kindly remind: Sorry, there is a charge for drinks in our store. Or remind customers on the wall of the beverage bar that only water is free, so that customers can choose for themselves. Instead of asking customers to check out at the front desk without warning after drinking drinks, this service attitude should be eliminated in today’s society. This staff(Name: Guadalupe)has serious racial discrimination against Asians. A white woman didn’t spend money, so he just gave her a drink cup, and we spent it. It’s hateful of him to use harsh words! I also dine in other Panera, but the service attitude is super good, that is, the service attitude of 2512 Waukegand is super poor, and I will not go to this Panera in the future.

Got the Mexican Street Corn Chowder. Pretty decent. Vaguely spicy. Tortilla chips were soggy instead of crisp. Also had the Strawberry Poppyseed Salad. The salad was sweet enough with the canned mandarins, sweetened strawberries, fresh blueberries, and anemic pineapple that the dressing was largely unnecessary. I didn’t opt for chicken but that might’ve been better. Cicadas are currently out in full force so indoor dining is probably a better option. They did forget our group’s extra soups that were ordered but the staff are very nice.

Our visit today was disappointing. Isaac, who took our order, was noticeably unfriendly and seemed irritated by even basic questions.
Once we sat down, the lack of cleanliness became very clear—carpets had food and napkins everywhere, the drink station was messy with old spills, and the food-prep area looked disorganized.
A member of our group also found the restroom completely out of toilet paper in all stalls, with floors so sticky her shoes were catching.
Even after an employee came out to the dining area, none of the mess was addressed. This was unfortunately one of the dirtiest locations I’ve been to, and I don’t plan to return, though the sandwich staff themselves were polite and trying to keep things moving.

It’s not a very repid pick up when I show up to get my order and no one knows about it. Instead of making the order, 3 different people ask me for proof of the order, then the manager tells me it’s not his problem. 10 minutes go by and the manager is still looking at his screen unable to find my order, even though I show him the confirmation email. This guy should not be managing a hospitality place, or anything. With a big sigh he agreed to make my order, long time after it was due. 10/31/25 6:15am

One of the men working on 12/17 around 6pm was extremely rude. Tried to accuse me of stealing an order and interrogated me on the details of the order that I was picking up for my aunt who called the order in while I was there. Extremely uncomfortable service to receive and really didn’t appreciate it.

Outstanding customer service.
I had a minor issue with a missing ingredient on my sandwich and the Staff were on it immediately and actually went above and beyond to insure I had a great experience.

We just ordered in the drive through and had the most amazing customer service from paneras manager named Dan!
He was so kind and greeted us with a smile!! Keep up the amazing work and amazing food. 🙂
