I recently celebrated my retirement with a beautiful party at Shoogie Boogies Cafe, and I truly could not have imagined a more perfect send-off. From the moment I arrived, I felt completely at ease knowing that Kathryn and her incredible team had thoughtfully handled every detail. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, filled with charm and such careful attention to even the smallest touches—it felt both elegant and deeply personal.
One of the greatest gifts of the evening was being able to simply show up and be present with my family and friends. Every detail, down to the very last one, was flawlessly arranged. The food was absolutely delicious—everyone is still raving about the chicken francesca! The wine and champagne flowed generously, adding to the joyful, celebratory spirit of the night.
What meant the most to me was how genuinely cared for I felt. Kathryn went above and beyond to ensure that not only I, but each of my guests, felt welcomed, valued, and celebrated. It was a truly meaningful and stress-free beginning to this new chapter of my life.

The fact that it was turnkey was the biggest selling point, but after speaking with Katherine and seeing the beautiful photos I knew it would be perfect. And perfect it was! I’ve had the best experience working with Kathryn for several years. I initially worked with her to plan my wedding but had to change plans during covid. Regardless, I know a wedding there would have been beautiful, and she was able to recommend a lovely officiant. I was so glad to keep in touch with Kathryn since then and plan the most stunning baptism reception and luncheon for our friends and family. Kathryn is such a pleasure to work with and makes sure every detail is perfect. I absolutely love her story and her inspiration behind her café. It made the occasion even more meaningful.
