I typically order online and go inside to pick it up. Parking has gotten slightly better, but on the weekends, it is difficult to find parking, because Panera is connected to the Rosedale Mall. It’s a very busy location, but the service is always good. Yesterday, I ordered a half sandwich and salad combo for lunch. The greek salad was delicious, the turkey sandwich was fresh, and the Greek Goddess dressing was unique, but a great blend of flavors. My food was packaged neatly, and the portion was enough to hold me over until I ate dinner later that evening.

Ordered ahead and waited 30 minutes longer than the time it was supposed to be ready. Plates were piling up in the bussing area and the cashier just walked slowly around looking at them. Person in the kitchen was screaming out “all orders 20 minute wait” constantly. Got my order and my pastry was squished on the bottom of the bag. Didn’t feel like a nice experience for $30 sandwiches. Other locations are much cleaner and the service is better.

Not the Panera wr’re used to: limited menu, poor supply of baked goods. Also, while there seemed to be a fair amount of staff in “the back”, there was only one counter-person/order-taker, who had to take 15 minutes+ taking the combined orders of 3 senior women who stopped to chat socially or to talk one or the other to add something or not get something. Don’t get me wrong…the order-taker was wonderful but the person behind us left without ordering, and we almost did. We thought that somebody should have come up from the back to help with the order line

I went through the drive thru for what was supposed to be a quick 3 minute pickup (a green tea). Instead, we waited for over 25 minutes in the car. It doesn’t help that worker was clueless and didn’t know what we ordered. Please avoid this drive thru, especially if you’re in a rush.

Best of luck actually getting there through the mouse maze of a parking lot outside of Rosedale. Ordered a catered size meal to feed 8 for a birthday party. Needed it at a particular time for the rest of the festivities to flow accordingly. Supposedly, someone had stolen my order before I got there. “It was right here a minute ago,” the manager said. It was over $150 worth of food. They remade my order after taking a picture of my receipt from my phone. It took them over half an hour. The birthday party was messed up as a result. The convenience their hodgepodge of technologies offer is more complex illusion than efficient practice. The only compensation I was offered was “a drink while you wait” and that offer came only as my bag of food was finally brought out. An awful experience. With large orders, I would not tip until after you’ve actually received your food. I tipped online before this happened and wished I could’ve gotten that $20 back.

I love Panera, but what I loved about this Panera was the manager Jon. Jon was in top of things, stepped in where needed, supported his team wonderfully, he explained things and gave his own personal advice with a chipper attitude. Jon knew how to do all the things and did them if they needed done, this place was PACKED, and everybody still got their food in a timely manner thanks to his management. He is what people look for in employers and if I didn’t already love my job, I’d wish he was my manager too.

I have come here multiple times through the drive through and have never waited less than 10-15 minutes every single time. I just came through and it was about 20-25 minutes. I asked multiple times when ordering for just a sandwich and not a meal and ended up paying for and receiving a meal.

Unfortunately have to give a 1 star. Submitted a catering order the day before a lunch delivery. Delayed 3 times then cancelled with no explanation or call. Had to scramble to find a sub-optimal lunch option last minute for a work event.

Ordered ahead for rapid pick up line. 3 items. Chicken sandwich, chips and soda. Order says pick up 1256 at rapid pick up line. I sat in the line for 22 minutes with my infant in the backseat, line was making no progress when finally arrived at window. No apology for the wait, grabbed my food to return home because at that point, I just wanted out of line. I got home and my sandwich was very cold from sitting on the counter for the last 20 minutes.

While I appreciate that there’s now a drive thru at the Rosedale location, Hana should not be the one at the window. She has absolutely zero customer service skills and is very rude. I’ve stopped here twice in the last month for lunch and she’s been at the window both times. I felt very rushed and she messed up my orders both times and was annoyed when I called her out on it. Please do better.
