I finally stopped to get a strawberry salad with poppy seed dressing and chicken. It was one of the worse salads I have had. The chicken tasted like it was turning bad. The strawberries and other fruit were past their prime. It was a thoroughly disappointing salad. I shall not be stopping here again.

I am so disappointed in the service I recieved from this place. I came in looking for a late snack, knowing they have some of the best smoothies in the area. I had not even approached the register when the cashier said, “we are closing soon.” I did not even know what to respond, it was 20 to 10:00pm. I asked can I still order, the cashier with a very unpleasant attitude said yeah like being lazy. I asked for a smoothie her and her coworker both looked at each other like seriously. I would have understood if I came in minutes before closing but more then 15 minutes. Then one of the workers that was in the lobby area followed me to the door, I do not know what the purpose of that was.

I’m a long-time repeat customer because I like the food/selection. Just had to call the Saugus location though because a smoothie delivery was placed on my front stairs upside down, spilling smoothie all over the step. Problem was, when I called the store, the cashier basically said, not our problem, it was the delivery person. I just can’t imagine treating a customer with that kind of disregard. I explained that I didn’t choose the delivery service, and that I I’m sure Panera would want to know if a delivery service they use is treating their customers like that. This turned into an argument where I had to ask for the manager who continued to let the cashier stay on the phone talking argumentatively and sarcastically at me. They basically said I would need to reach corporate office or get the delivery service they chose (Door Dash) to make it right. In other words, I get to do more work for being treated badly to begin with. Nice. I won’t be going back to be treated like that.

Really bad customer service. After a while waiting to put my order, I asked for cappuccino and it was served cold. When I complained, they argued with saying it was warm so they would not make another one. Plus I noticed the employees working with loose hair. The place was looking very dirty.

I went there on Sunday April 17, 2023. The workers were great! The young men provided good customer service and were going around making sure that the place was nice tidy. One young man, Jose, was doing a great job making sure that the tables and floors were clean. He even asked to removed our trays from the table. I had a very pleasant time there.

Very clearly asked for chicken noodle soup and received broccoli cheddar. Not to mention their cookies had a strong eggy flavor that comes from not mixing the dough properly. The place was dirty and the employees looked like they had the soul sucked out of them.

Well first off let me start by saying I like to go to places that get reviewed as a one star to see if it’s true!! and let me tell you this place did not disappoint they should definitely be getting a zero star ,if I could put it, the problem is almost all the reviews are true I have witnessed everything everybody has said , I went there when the restaurant was completely dead maybe about 10 people in the restaurant , as I place my order to a very nice young woman who was professional and kind the order was a order to go , as I waited about 20 minutes the order came out as not to go when I told him it was a to-go order please pay attention to the slip it says TO GO ORDER!, He then angrily put all my food into a to go containers, as I drove home 4 minutes from my house I open up the container realize the macaroni and cheese has 2 scoops in it and didn’t even fill the small container mind you the price is outrageous the chicken sandwich was cold bread was soggy and it was the turkey BLT that got me thinking is this turkey, there was only one small tiny piece of bacon on the whole sandwich I don’t know if you call that turkey or not the avocado was old and it just look like a big mess I probably could have made it out of a soup with the bread it’s supposed to be a sandwich by the way this place is very unsanitary the franchisee owner should be sued for serving food like this to the public and not caring if people get sick.

This has to be one of the dirtiest Panera’s I’ve ever been to. I wasn’t going to rate this one star based on one visit, but I’ve been to this location three times over the past month and each time the tables and floor were filthy. We had to wipe down our own table and remove cups and plates left from other customers. Really disappointed that this location stays filthy and isn’t maintained like other Panera’s I’ve been to throughout the U.S.

Needless to say I was very disappointed with my experience in Panera Bread in Saugus. Being a manager myself customer service It is of the upmost importance. Management and policies need to be addressed at this location. If action isn’t taken soon at this location we see it being closed in no time. Quality help is hard to get and it shows in some of their staff. From an unhappy customer that will never visit that location again. Unless the issues are addressed.
