GREAT Panera. We only dine at Paneras on the road and this location stood out as one of the best on East Coast. Waitstaff very personable and professional, Matilda makes the best Panera latte, food was fresh, served quickly and exactly as ordered. Nice booths available near gas fireplace. Keep up the good work!

Deceptive pricing! I ordered a half salad which on the overhead menu said was 7 $7 and some odd cents but I was actually charged over $9 for it. When I asked about this the woman was an unable to supply and intelligible explanation. In addition, I wanted to get a cup of decaf coffee, but the dispenser was empty. It took them about 45 minutes to refill it, and then the milk ran out. I have to say this was a very disappointing experience.

I’ve been a loyal customer at your Saugus, MA location for over 13 years, and have always felt like part of the Panera family. The staff has consistently been welcoming and kind, and I’ve always appreciated the atmosphere and quality of service — until today.
This morning, I placed my usual order but noticed that I had been overcharged. When I politely brought this to the attention of the manager (I believe his name is Oscar), he became noticeably annoyed. I didn’t want to escalate things, so I let it go and proceeded to get my coffee.
As I waited for my food, I realized there was no coffee left — something that occasionally happens and is usually not a big deal. I simply informed Oscar, as I have done in the past with no issue. To my shock, he became extremely agitated and suddenly demanded to refund my entire order, saying I was no longer welcome at the location.
I was left shocked and deeply disappointed. This is not the customer service I’ve come to expect from Panera. I genuinely care about this place, and it’s disheartening to be treated this way after years of loyalty and positive interactions.
I hope this situation can be reviewed, and that future customers — especially regulars — are treated with the kindness and professionalism that Panera is known for.

This has to be one of the dirtiest Panera’s I’ve ever been to. I wasn’t going to rate this one star based on one visit, but I’ve been to this location three times over the past month and each time the tables and floor were filthy. We had to wipe down our own table and remove cups and plates left from other customers. Really disappointed that this location stays filthy and isn’t maintained like other Panera’s I’ve been to throughout the U.S.

Easily the most terrible Panera I know.
Out of the last 10 times I have gone here for a breakfast sandwich, they have either just put no egg or no sausage at least half of my visits; this time it was no egg.
Do yourself a favor and drive the extra 5 minutes to Market Street in Lynnfield as I have yet to get a mistaken order from them.

Panera is known for it’s bread but the bread was certainly old rather than fresh. Dry and hard is an understatement and it’s not isolated to just this franchise. I had similar issues last Friday in Waltham. This will be my last visit to any Panera.

Curbside pickup order on 7/5. Tortilla soup, no tortillas, no spoon. Caesar salad, no fork. Chipotle chicken avocado melt, no sauce, no peppers, massive hunk of avocado on one side and handful of chicken on the other.
Definitely let me down this time. Need more quality checking and dedication to Panera training for even placement of ingredients for sandwiches. This cafe was the best when it was a training cafe under Moira Santos!!
