From humble beginnings, Palermo’s began as a simple pizza shop on 63rd St. in Chicago of 1961. Palermo’s got its start from the first generation of our Sicilian family with one key idea in mind: to make a better pizza. Palermo’s used to be my favorite pizza. They continually undercook their pizza, so I continually ask for it “well done” or “browned.” THIS is what I got most recently! $100 for two raw pizzas and two small salads.

My husband and I tried this place for the first time tonight. We ordered online, it was ready when it said it would be and it was delicious. We like pizza with a good amount of sauce and this was it. We will be back.

I order from this location literally 10 times a month. I placed an order online at 5:47p. After a period of time (7:09p) I called because no order had arrived. I was told it was out for delivery. I live 1.3 miles from Palermo’s. I wanted to cancel and was told I couldn’t. So now it is 7:53pm and I called back and asked for the manager. Maggie answered and then said hold on and came back on. She said she was the manager and canceled the order. NO ONE TOLD ME THEY DID THIS. So as I’m waiting instead of ordering from a competent place. Nothing ever showed. No apology or remorse. It was like I was the inconvenience… I will be taking my business elsewhere from now on
