Great breakfast! Hot fresh fast and reasonably priced! I will be back!! Great sausage, eggs cooked perfectly, and the sausage gravy was super tasty. Friendly service to top it off!

Good inexpensive American cuisine. I’ve visited several times and got good friendly service each time. Excellent live music on Saturday mornings. No frills but clean. Clean bathrooms. Easy to get to from the interstate and well worth the half mile. Plenty of parking available in the back form the alley if the street spots are occupied

We have eaten at the owl several times and the food has always been good. HOWEVER TODAY was different. Ordered breakfast, took over half an hour to get our food, and others served first, food tasted fine, good bacon, but when we got the check we nearly fainted. 2 sausage Patty’s were $14.00 and 2 pancakes were over $8.00. It cost us $26.00 for 2 people. We ate at another restaurant last sun, 3 people $20.00. We won’t be back to eat breakfast.

Yesterday we ate there for the first time, but it won’t be the last. When we came in the place was packed. Our waitress appeared promptly and was attentive to our needs. Our food took a while to arrive (no doubt because they were so busy) but proved worth the wait — a big juicy hand-formed burger (not a frozen patty) with fresh-cut fries cooked in fresh oil (not yesterday’s stale oil) and fresh real bread (not tasteless wundabread) — you won’t find its like in any chain restaurant. The portions were large and arrived piping hot.

We came into what felt like a great atmosphere and nice home style restaurant. We ordered our food and sat patiently waiting. Me, my fiancé, and our one year old daughter. We waited a half hour before we saw our waitress again, just to hand us the ketchup and mustard. Another 20 minutes passed as we watched people who came in before us get their meals. I paid for our drinks and left. Worst restaurant experience I’ve ever had. We will not be back.

My mom and I went here for breakfast on our way to Yellowstone. The waitress was very friendly and the only complaint about the place was that she accidentally messed up our orders with someone else. Overall, the food was delicious and it felt like home.

Just left and had less than great service. my 1 year old and fiance ordered burgers and mac and cheese and waited more than hour to get our food and at which point I had a cranky hungry baby and no food. two tables were served before us. we paid for our ice tea and left. We will not be back.

First time in since i moved back. Prices are high. Servings are small. Heard cook make comment about our order to the effect ‘its a waste to have to make this for one order’. We were only one in there. $11.50 for taco salad…please. Wont be back.

The chicken fried steak are huge and never cooked incorrectly. Their dinner rolls are also huge. I gave it only 4 stars because the house salad is tiny and comes on a small plate . It looks like a premade salad mix with a sprinkle of shredded cheddar cheese. . The rolls are never warm

The vast majority (80%) of patrons here are locals. Saying “Hi” to the waitstaff by name and the staff responding appropriately with “How is your sister?” This is probably typical of diners in small communities, but this one is easy to genuinely feel the heart of the Diner. Prompt service, friendly staff, great food. I also witnessed live entertainment. There was a guy with a guitar and a woman with a cello? That played on Sat. morning, it was an experience I highly recommend if you are ever passing thru Billings/Laurel.
