My first time in an Outback Steakhouse and it was awesome from being seated to check out. Hostesses were sweet and inviting. Server was attentive even though she also had bar. Lighting wasn’t too dark or too bright. Great atmosphere to watch Monday Night Football. The food was delicious. Bread, Mac and cheese bites, grilled chicken, mashed potatoes, salad and the chocolate brownie dessert. I’d visit more often now.

FIRST TIME TRYING OUTBACK!
I joined the waitlist ahead of time before I got there, when we arrived I let the host know and it was another 10-15 minutes which was no big deal! It ended up being 30 or so minutes before getting seated. When we did get seated we waited about 10 minutes for someone to come get drink orders, enough time for my whole party to decide what they wanted to eat. When we received our food everyone in my party was unhappy. Steaks were super small, steaks had very mild to no flavor, French fries were cold, Mac n cheese was cold, and I got a burger and for it being a steakhouse I thought they would have good meat for a burger, however my burger patty was super thin and just not good at all to where I didn’t even have an appetite for it. For 4 of us to eat it was $116! I honestly didn’t think it was worth it. I will definitely be going to Texas Roadhouse or the longhorn steakhouse. I don’t like writing bad reviews and I know it’s not the servers fault because I was once one and so I didn’t complain but I won’t be here for future.

My wife, my son and I went to Outback this past Saturday. It was Memorial Day weekend so I didn’t know what to expect, but we had a great experience! There weren’t many people there due to the holiday so we got seated right away. Our server was James and he was top notch! We ordered our drinks and appetizers and had our adult beverages brought to us within minutes of ordering. We all had steaks and they came out quickly and they tasted great! But what really impressed us was how well our server James treated us. He was very attentive, polite, and super quick to get us anything that we lacked. But what we noticed is that he treated every table that he attended to in the same way. He was awesome and we can’t express enough how much we appreciated his attitude and professionalism. Thank you James for your great service. If he’s there, request James as your server. You won’t regret it!

The service sucked. I approached 3 people to take my order and they refused. I asked the hostess to take the order and she got a server he walked by and said thats “Veronica” sooo… you didnt give 2 hoots about me attending your establishment. Was there for 40 min before the appetizer. good luck

Okay. Now this is going to be kinda like a “catch 22” because I really liked the service but, didn’t necessarily enjoy the food.. my wife and I went in to have dinner and were greeted and seated quickly (A+) and just a couple minutes later our server stopped by to take the drink order and advise us that he will be right back with our drinks and some warm bread with butter (A+), again!! Finally after a few minutes of us strolling through the menu he promptly returned, took our order and then the wait was on. I ordered the Outback Ribs with a loaded baked potato and salad. My wife ordered Pineapple and Pork Medallions with a baked sweet potato and steamed vegetables.. When our food made it to the table it was truly NOT up to par with Outback standards! My Ribs were burnt and covered over by the sauce and my potato was raw in the center. My wife’s meal didn’t come out much better either. The Pork was extremely overcooked and over seasoned and the vegetables were still 100% raw, but the baked sweet potato was fantastic!. Now, here’s that Catch 22 I was talking about. Just because we disliked the dinner doesn’t mean we didn’t like the service or the staff and the atmosphere. Our order came out like that because of an error in the kitchen and the server and the manager did the absolute best in rectifying the problem. My wife had her meal done all over again but was still not satisfied and me, I’m usually very much over it and let’s move on!! Bad night for whoever was in the back, maybe?! This did not diminish the experience and interaction with the people who work in the front though!… I am not saying don’t eat here, I’m just saying if you have a valid issue with your meal then be polite and mention it, but don’t make a giant stink over something that is completely out of the control of your servers hands. Don’t punish them by not leaving a Tip either, they took care of the issues and were more than professional…

The service felt a bit unorganized, we had several different people bringing items to the table and then disappearing. The atmosphere is more of a bar scene, not very family oriented, with a lot of people chatting at the bar. Unfortunately, the onion soup arrived cold and the presentation wasn’t very appealing also flavor was disappointing. The steak was also disappointing, one of the least enjoyable I’ve had in Texas. I really don’t like leaving negative reviews, but I want to be honest so others know what to expect. If you’re looking for a great steakhouse experience, this might not be the right place.

We go to Outback almost every weekend, and it’s usually a great experience with good food and friendly service. Last weekend the fryer was broken, but they got it fixed and we returned again last night (Sunday around 7–8 pm) for dinner.

Our waitress, Sophia, was professional the entire time. We ordered two steaks: one medium rare and one medium well. Unfortunately, when the food came out, they were cooked backwards. The medium rare was medium well, and the medium well was medium rare. We politely asked Sophia if they could be remade, and she apologized and handled it without any issue.

Sophia later brought us a receipt and mentioned that the manager had overridden a discount for us. After reviewing the receipt there was no discount applied.
It showed our stakes added TWICE and deducted once each. When the manager finally brought our steaks back we asked her why the steaks were added twice and what the discount was? She seemed very frustrated. She rudely said the steaks were added twice because we had to ring them up again so we can recook them. We asked why did she need to ring them up again if they’re the ones who made the mistake. She said well you’re not paying for it because I took it off. We said yes after you added them twice. Then we asked her how was this a discount? She said I didn’t realize I was supposed to give you one. And we informed her that Sophia said it was on the receipt.

Sophia returned shortly after with an updated receipt where one steak was removed. While the bill was corrected, the interaction with management was uncomfortable and unnecessary, especially for long-time customers who come here every week.

Outback has always been well-run in the past, and this is the first time we’ve experienced something like this. The restaurant felt smoother under the previous manager, and it’s disappointing to see some of the best servers—like Captain and Alicia—no longer there. We truly hope this was just a rough night and that management improves moving forward, because this location has always been one of our favorites. The manager on duty and that is new at this location is Ashley.

Waiter was phenomenal. We had a few issues and he was super understanding. We ordered medium steaks and they came out well done. We brought it to his attention but decided to go ahead and eat it as we were hungry and didn’t want to wait for a new one. As my wife cut into her baked potato and started eating it, it had a rotten taste. So we opened it further and there was a big rotten spot on it. The waiter brought the manager over who said “we don’t serve rotten potatoes”. Like how else did it get there? I didn’t bring my own in. Manager was down right rude.
