I’ve got to give credit where it’s due — this Outback Steakhouse location has made a drastic improvement over time. The service is noticeably better, more attentive, and genuinely welcoming, and the food quality has stepped up in a big way. Everything comes out hot, fresh, and consistently well-prepared, which honestly hasn’t always been the case in the past.
What really stands out now is the overall experience. You can tell the staff is more locked in, communication is better, and the management clearly cares about how guests are treated. Because of that, this location has officially become my go-to.
I actually prefer coming here over the other Outback Steakhouse locations — the difference is noticeable. If you haven’t been to the Garner spot in a while, it’s worth giving it another shot. Big improvement all around

First time visiting this outback! Went in on a Friday night and there was no wait time, which was good. The food was good, except for one issue. I had to ask for silverware when my food arrived.

Over the years, the Garner location has had varying experiences depending on the management. Today, however, everything was excellent. We ordered the wings, house salad, asparagus, and the Delmonico ribeye. We ordered our steak, medium, it arrived well done. Our waitress promptly corrected this error by having a new steak cooked to perfection. The manager personally brought it to our table to ensure it was cooked just right.

So my husband and I went on an afternoon lunch date to this location and we were super excited because we were craving Outback. It was fairly slow, not busy at all, which is good because you think that the turnaround of your food would be very quick however it took us a very long time to get our drinks and get our food as well. We received our food and everything was very cold and with getting meat at a medium rare temperature it feels a little unsafe to eat when your food is not hot! We told our waitress and both of the managers were very accommodating and fixing the problem! They put in a re-order for our food, which did come back very hot! They were quick to correct the issue. We were just very disappointed by the initial service and wanting to sit and dine in and we ended up taking our meals to go. The customer service from both managers and the waitress were exceptional! Everything was just very slow and it seems like the food just got forgotten about since the restaurant wasn’t busy and I get it these things happen sometimes but it was just very disappointing.

Well, just to give you the back story. We ordered takeout 2 weeks before we came in last night. The takeout was totally screwed up from the taste, wrong items, etc. The steak was a total salt lick. Ugh! We called the manager and he was very nice. He gave me gift cards and asked me to give them another chance. So, last night, we did. We called in and made a “reservation, of sorts”. We arrived and they had no record. What’s new? We were seated 15 minutes later. We had the best waitress ever. Sorry, I can’t remember her name. We ordered burgers with no sauce, loaded mashed taters. When it arrived, the cheeses wasn’t melted….1st sign. I looked on the bottom and there the sauce was. My sister’s was the same. She’s allergic to horse radish, so she returned her burger. The other friend’s burger didn’t have sauce. lol. Well, I tried the loaded mashed potoatoes. They were ice cold. I actually put my finger in them and they were ice cold all the way through. I guess they forgot to microwave them. When my sister’s came back, the first thing she did was stick her finger to the potatoes. They were ice cold. The waitress was totally embarrased and offered to take them back. We just let it go. The hamburger was so salty, I could only eat 2 bites of it. What a waste. The manager came over and apologized and said she would remove from our bill. I guess she forgot. 3-$14.99 3 for 3 meals, one tea and 1 alligator drink was $70. Not including the tip. With me 2 strikes your out. I’ll find somewhere else to eat.
This is so sad. Outback use to be the place to go. I don’t know what happened, but the food is not the same. So much salt it’s horrible.

Wow is really all I could say after the experience I had at the Outback tonight. Mom and I went about an hour and a half before close and were served by Ginger. Ginger was very sweet, she answered all of my questions and didn’t make me feel like I was asking too many! It was my first time at the Outback in a long while so I wasn’t familiar with the menu besides the popular blooming onion! She explained the menu very kindly and brought things out in a timely manner. As we enjoyed our appetizer, the manager, Alex, came out and informed that an important part of my entree was out of stock. He was so humble and down to earth as he gave me a few options to accommodate. It was truly a great experience! I am grateful for Alex, Ginger and the rest of the Outback crew that I couldn’t go to sleep without writing this. Food was delicious, it was so much I was a bit overwhelmed lol….definitely worth the price.

The bread was the unexpected wonder. I ate a whole loaf before my salmon came out.
My salmon arrived seasoned and cooked to perfection. The potato soup was awesome. The sweet potato was cooked perfectly and was piping hot.
My one word of advice would be to call ahead for a reservation.
I called and was told a five minute wait and it was ready in 4 minutes.
The servers were hospitable and the ambience was very soothing.
Definitely would recommend you visit.
4.5 Stars I deducted .5 stars for the length of time it took the food to arrive. We waited about 45 minutes

Today was simply amazing at Outback with the outstanding service I received from Brandon. Not only was my order prepared correctly as ordered, but Brandon reverified my order with me at pickup and got me what was missing!!! And he was so friendly, helpful and courteous to me!!!

Ok 3rd time. 1st I gave lead way per say food ok, service sucked. 2nd time 1000% Better perfect. This time they were under staffed our waiter was all over, our steaks were sent back twice all in all it took 2hrs in all for me and my wife to have dinner. They did give a discount and everyone was doing the best they could. I will be giving them another shot.

Outback steakhouse is by far my favorite restaurant. My boyfriend took me here for Valentine’s Day, and everything was perfect. The employees were nice, the food came out fast. The place was packed. Very lovely atmosphere, and as always delicious food. I highly recommend!!
