Margarita’s, first and foremost, has outstanding service. All the staff is very friendly, I’ve never had to wait to get more chips or a refilled drink, even during busy hours they still keep great service. Their food is very good, and priced extremely fair. I tend to go during lunch and order off of their lunch menu, which offers great food for super cheap. I mean even with a drink, you’re going to get a very decent lunch for around $15. Compare that to a fast food joint, you’d be spending nearly that much and you definitely wouldn’t enjoy it. I would say Margarita’s should be one of the lunch destinations in Conroe. Dinners are also very good, and priced fairly. I would definitely have Margarita’s as one of my top Mexican restaurants in Conroe, and their friendly staff definitely goes a long way, on top of their great food.

I wanted to leave a review because margaritas was my favorite restaurant in Conroe. I was born in Conroe and eaten there my whole life, lately the past year anyway the food is not what I grew up on I’m picky about beans and I used to love their beans! No more though, the last 5 times I’ve tried to eat there the food has been horrible. I kept hoping something would happen to open up the owners eyes. The last time I ate there I had to put it in a to go box, I took 2 bites and could eat no more. It’s not margaritas that I grew up loving for sure

Actually so terrible that it was hilarious. The waiter was awesome. The food was absolutely disgusting. I posted some pictures it was so bad that the nachos is what my 15 year old son left. If that says anything. Oh and check out this cheese
UPDATE: next morning… I’m pretty sure I got food poisoning!

Came here for lunch & tried to order queso blanco the waitress said the have chili queso, we didn’t want meat in the queso so she said you want shredded cheese? We were kinda blown away at that 1st off. the salsa tasted like picante from the store, chips tasted like they came out of a bag. I’m not too impressed with the service or food.

Positives: Friendly service, like that it has a patio, decent queso, fajita meat was acceptable and had typical flavor, chips were not stale but a lot of little broken ones

Negatives: ALL of the salsas are borderline gross. They are all bland. The red sauce tastes like Pace picante, but with just tomato and basically NO spices or added ingredients like onions, jalapeño, salt… The green sauce costs $2 extra and is basically just blended tomatillos with water. The guacamole looks like it’s melting and has zero flavor.

When it comes to a Mexican restaurant, you need to get the salsa and guacamole right!

✋STOP. Why do you read reviews? Is it to make sure you’re picking the right spot for the perfect dinner? Make sure the service is nice?

Miguel’s back must be tired because he carries the whole restaurant with his one in a million hospitality. You’ll find him behind the bar putting huge smiles on everyone’s faces. He made my date night with my boyfriend very special and it strikes me that he wouldn’t hesitate to do the same for you.

the margaritas. A JUMBO for $6. These are not for lightweights I’m normally a Houston diner but was in the area to hike and these margaritas were an amazing deal. We tried the frozen house, top shelf and the mango frozen all three delivered a flavor was decent/average- But these are more recommended if you are looking for a good time

There is no doubt in my mind that we will be back. This place is perfect for dates, friends, family or just hanging out at the bar. Warm and fun ambiance

We ordered the fajitas for two $30 and they were delicious and a great value the rice also had a very authentic Mexican taste. Salsa needed more salt but it’s ok after adding a bit!
