This place brings me back to Japan. closest thing to authentic asian food you can get in Storrs CT. Has a great selection. the sushi is fresh and delish. the teriyaki dishes come out sizzling hot. Me and my friends drop hella bank here and we’re broke college students so i think that says enough.

I had a wonderful dining experience with the staff being very friendly and the food having some of the freshest ingredients I’ve ever tasted. The salmon melted in your mouth and the spicy tuna was delicious. It was my first time eating there and I’m going back next week just for the sushi alone.

Highly recommend not wasting any positive energy at this restaurant. To start out your course, you will likely be harassed by the new, rude, and wildly unprofessional manager before trying their anything-but-fresh sushi. When time to leave, you’ll basically be asked to leave your wallet on the table.

Very happy with our order! I got the tempura appetizer, Brooklyn maki roll and California maki roll. My husband got steamed dumplings and chicken mei fun. The only complaint I have is the tempura got soggy on the way here. But we ordered from GrubHub and I kind of expected it to not make it without some condensation in the packaging. There really is no way to do it without that happening so I’d love to try it at the restaurant itself. My husband said the dumplings and mei fun were delicious. My maki rolls were so fresh. We will definitely be ordering again.

I question how fresh the food is here. I ordered a brooklyn roll and the smoked salmon on the inside tasted old and was hard to chew. I took the roll apart and found many pieces of dried out hard white pieces of salmon. When ordering sushi from places my biggest concern is how fresh/safe the food is. It also makes me wonder what they were thinking when they saw the salmon this way and still put it in the roll. I’ve also ordered the kani salad before and it came mixed with watered down regular mayo not spicy mayo.

i love this place, and even since they raised the prices, it’s still the best place around to get the most value for what i get. food’s great, staff is nice, and i appreciate how quiet it is.

This place has good sushi and Asian entrees. I had something called “the wet kiss” which was a sushi roll with soft shelled crab. It was wonderful. As was the miso soup and seaweed salad. The service was good. The waiter was attentive, spoke English well and wasn’t overbearing. The cost is very reasonable and the food delicious. What more could you ask for?
