1st time visiting. Met the owner who was very nice and inviting. They were out of chicken so I tried the brisket and it was fabulous. Seasoned just right, with yams and greens. The yams were a little under flavored but perfect later in the day. The greens were not my favorite today but my referral said there were off that day

New spot in Killeen. Visiting a property in Killeen and decided to try. Owners are awesome. I had the brisket. The greens were great and tasty. Cornbread was good. My cousin had the chicken breast which was tender. I would highly recommend visiting them for your Soul Food needs. Come support a local business.

It’s always great when you randomly try a new spot and it turns out to be a gem! I had the rib plate with brisket and it was amazing! The ribs were seasoned perfectly and tender with just the right amount of bite to it. The brisket was amazing as well – tender and very well seasoned. Highly recommend to anyone coming to the area.

Let me say this for those who don’t know. In the black community when we say “On My Momma,” that mean we are telling you the absolute truth…. When it comes to this restaurant, they did not tell a lie. This food was delicious. My wife picked up our food so I didn’t get the feel of the environment (yet). I had the ribs, mac n cheese, and yams. Had a brisket sammich on the side. Not a sandwich but a sammich. They all was hittin. Ribs were well seasoned and tender. The yams was perfect. The mac n cheese was delicious. Had a good piece of conebread too. Notice I said conebread. When we say conebread that, that means the cornbread was hitting. I will be eating their again for sure…Shot out to OMM.
