Since moving to both Essex, then Clinton, so many places , yet , the one consistent is Pizza Palace OSB, from pizza to the local favorite s Whole Belly Clams, perfectly fried sweet huge bellies , not excessively salty or breaded , never greasy. When indulging , the only place I’m truly satisfied. I’m deceivingly overweight , stopped at a place advertising clam rolls. Which looked loaded with ambience ended up with what tasted like breaded salt. Threw it away. Took me 2 weeks to budget and save for a favorite summertime shore dish not to be taken for granted. Only Pizza Palace , has made the endeavor worth the guilt. My dog is treated like a member of s family business. And TY Lexi, for delivering on service.

Worst place ever I have an town like old Saybrook, I ask for a cup of water and a person said we have no water in a cup. You have to purchase a bottle of water I said OK then I order veggie pizza table was really dirty and the cashier is not even coming to clean the tables she’s busy on the phone.There was a Plate sitting there. And the pizza was not Cooked well and the vegetables are old a green pepper is smelling old . Place waste of money. If you don’t believe me go and try it I don’t recommend this place.
