Now this is an old school Diner experience. Great atmosphere and service with even better food.
If you’re looking for a casual laid back dinning experience, this is the place. The staff is welcoming & friendly. The Food was perfect, classic American menu. Burger, Fried Steak, mashed potatoes, pancakes, you name it. Top off your meal with a fresh brewed coffee and the best slice of apple pie I’ve had in a long time. They just don’t make great places like this anymore!

The Cuban sandwich was delicious, I got full so I had to take it to go. The pork chop and the potato salad was also delicious. Definitely worth it and recommended. It’s quiet and cozy. The food was quicker than I expected. My mother loved the decor and stain glass lamps. The sprite was actually better than any other I’ve tasted so far. Local people and looks like most of them know each other and our waitress was really kind. This has become our favorite spot, plus it’s right next to the water. Lovely service!!

Outstanding Burger served on a grilled brioche bun. I like mine medium-rare and they cook it to perfection every time.
Nice variety on the menu, and a daily special on the board. Good salad, excellent fried chicken, good sandwiches, too.

We had the worst experience and we didn’t even eat a thing. We walked in the door and asked the server if we could sit over in a specific table. She did not say the first word and walked past us and then walked past us again. When we asked –. again — she was so rude and mumbled so we didn’t understand and when we asked for clarification, she rudely acknowledged it. She came by and almost threw the menus at us. We decided to leave. No one has ever been so rude at any dining establishment I’ve ever been to. I should’ve got her name, but she had grayish blonde hair and a dirty uniform. We should’ve picked up on the queue that there was almost no one there went across the street at the Village Inn. It was packed.

Stopped in for Saturday night date. Thought was a little odd that is was not busy but decided to try anyway. Dining room is definitely old school with Tiffany style lamps and little booths. Was enjoying something non chain for a few minutes. Before we ordered, a woman who we presumed to be a customer got into a very LOUD argument with her son (?). We could barely hear ourselves discussing menu options. We kept looking over at the table. We almost left because we couldn’t figure out why management didn’t say something. After sitting and eating for a while, we realized that the lady was management. (Dark thick hair with leopard print outfit, sitting in table by cashier). It’s a shame because this place could be a real nice break from the commercial in and out chain restaurants. Paid 40 dollars for a loud tense meal no tvs, no music just drama. Do better.

Tried breakfast here, Soft scrambled eggs, ham, home fries, toast. I specifically asked if I could get onions cooked into the home fries, and I just had a bunch of onions dumped on top of them. The ham was a generous portion and very tasty. The eggs were not overcooked and scorched like I often get when I order. Don’t know why it’s all scrambled eggs are so difficult to actually get.

When someone says let’s go to the local diner for a good meal; THIS is the place they are talking about! I would have had a picture of my main plate, but it didn’t last long enough. Although good, I wasn’t a fan of the biscuits and gravy.
And dammit! I wish I remembered the waitresses name because she was outstanding! Incredible service!
