If you are in the area, stop here for lunch or dinner… you will not regret it. Had the opportunity to chat with the friendly staff and learned that the owner has traveled to several states like Texas to create his own BBQ flavor. I had Chipotle Chicken Tacos with sweet potato fries very flavorful! Sorry, I forgot to take a picture of the food.

Very nice clean place food was really good however fountain drink was not so good neither was the water, if you try to get a free glass of water I will say don’t do it and better off by yourself a bottle of water or a soda bottle. I am pretty sure this could be improved. I will definitely visit this place again.

Who knew that NJ could turn out Texas BBQ? This place was a great find if you are ever in the area. This southern boy recommends the Brisket and better yet the house made pastrami and hot sauce.

Loved the brisket and ribs. You barely need to use the steel knives to cut the meat. It’s lovely to just pull out the bones for the ribs. Definitely order the curly fries with pulled pork and slaw. For the sides the baked beans and potato salad. The only thing I regretted was not requesting the Nashville hot sauce for the protein!

Seems like a nice little business, but the food is not that good. The pulled pork had no bark and the sandwich came without any sauce. It was dry and lacked flavor/rub. The bowl was all alright but they were skimpy on the brisket. Also, the cashier was extremely awkward — mediocre service. I don’t really care about the ambience in places like these but it’s kinda dumpy, and it was completely empty. The food wasn’t terrible but it’s subpar BBQ. Wont be returning

Scouting for the Best BBQ in New Jersey for the Food Network App. After a long morning of Eating, I just ordered the Lunch Special for $10, which included a sandwich, fried and a drink. Loved that they offered this as it was quick, simple and easy. We planning on having the sandwich later in the day, but decided to take a bite while it was fresh. 5 minutes later it was all gone. It was so Good. The extra Carolina Sauce to top it off, put the sandwich over the top. I believe the BBQ there is Josh, great job. See you again soon.

Good BBQ, pastrami and pulled pork were excellent. Their sauce was delicious, on the side which is perfect.

I really wanted to like this place, but after two visits I probably won’t be back :/

Food was just okay. Expected cheesesteak to be full size for $14, but you only get a half 6” size! (Note: The photo attached shows 1/2 of the 6” cheesesteak so I’m not misleading).

Food – We ordered the sampler platter to-go, and as an avid amateur pitmaster I felt they cooked the meats to perfection. The brisket & pork were super juicy and tender but could have been more flavorful. I think the tacos & sandwiches might have been better where the flavor could be boosted by sauces. The greens were our favorite part of the meal. My child and I loved the cornbread but my wife felt it was a little salty. We liked the creaminess of the buttermilk slaw, but felt it could have benefited from a little apple cider vinegar or aromatic seasoning to give it a little something extra. Detailed meat review below for BBQ enthusiasts.
