Did not finish… not our liking. Needs more flavor. Service is distracted. Had to ask for utensils.

The night shift seems to be more polite and cooks better which makes sense because of the dinner crowd. Called and ordered some soup and asked the catering director to throw in a few of the $4 quesadillas and she was noticeably irritated and said they have nothing on the menu for $4. Turns out the menu has them list at $4.50, I get home and they are over stuffed with 3x extra cheese way more then what I ordered and received the night before. I have a feeling she did that on purpose. Order was refunded I highly recommend goin at night only so you don’t have to deal with the day staff. They also love to cater to rude prejudice customers at the bar so watch out for that crowd during the day also. Honestly go there for convenience because unfortunately Lincoln Village does not have many quality restaurants to choose from. And if the recipes are so generational why go against the grain and break off from a family franchise that has good standing? That says a lot about the folks running this place.

Food was amazing. The owner was more than hospitable… felt like home. From one small business owner to another, keep up the good work. #smittyswingsandthings

We went for my birthday. My son had come from Watsonville to join us. My husband and I have been there many times. My favorite had been taken off the menu. We are used to better more authentic Hispanic or Mexican Food. We have not been back.

Went with my coworkers after a busy work day and got the grilled chicken Quesadilla with gravy and black beans and chicken enchiladas to go for my boyfriend. Both were absolutely delicious.

Service sucks. I knew it Would because we have been here before (when it changed ownership to what is now Octavio’s) but my husband been wanting to come back so bad just to give them a second chance. We fought about coming back here and I told him I truly didn’t want to but i agreed to go on one condition… if the service was bad this time, we would never come back again. So we get here and our waitress is pretty much nonexistent. We watched her check on every table except ours. We also had to refill our own drinks because we never got that service. The food was basic chipotle restaurant style. My husband said he doesn’t even want to go back to this place ever again and him saying that made me happy because the service sure didn’t.

We had crispy chicken tacos a la carte. They were very good. We were in a large group and they do not do seperate checks which made it difficult to figure out how much you owed. Our group will not go back for that reason. Three of us came a little later than the others. We had to ask for silverware, chips and salsa, and menus. When someone needed a refill of water, had to get the attention of a different waiter. Overall most everyone thought there meal was ok. The service was lacking and if you have over 6 people they require 20% tip.

If I could give this a 10 I would. Hands down the best Mexican restaurant you’ll encounter in the 209. Each time we visit, it gets better and better…no idea how, but they keep upping their craft! Can’t go wrong with their tacos, which are generous in size and delicious. Drinks are super refreshing. I ordered a watermelon then a blackberry margarita…needless to say, the watermelon drink didn’t last long time enough for a photo. Service is amazing, makes you feel apart of the family!

I have never had a worse or more embarrassing experience at a restaurant. My husband and I go here regularly. My husband always orders the same thing- burrito with nothing but meat and Cilantro. He provided the waitress with the order and she asked if he wanted onions. He replied, “no just the meat and cilantro.” While we waited for the bill at the end of our meal an older woman came by and told our waitress to let her know if “costumers were rude to her”. She said this very loudly. We thought it was strange but assumed someone had been rude to her and had no idea she ment us. When the waitress came back with our bill the older woman came back again and again very loudly repeated to let her know if a costumer was rude. And then said the waitress had said we had been rude. My husband asked the waitress, “im sorry, we were rude to you?”. She didn’t seem to know what to say for a moment and then said “oh, yeah. You repeated your order twice”. We paid the bill and left, but will honestly never return to this restaurant. I never write reviews but the way we were treated should not acceptable at any establishment.
