This is a nice cozy place that has a fairly big menu and absolutely wonderful food. The white fish was freshly caught that morning. The decor is covered in ship and seafaring items. The service was good. Although it was not on the main strip, it is not far. I would recommend this place.

Cozy and down home feel. When we walked in it reminded me of my childhood. Very friendly staff and quick service. My wife a burger and I had the hot beef meal. We also shared clam strips. The mashed potatoes and and gravy were delicious with my hot beef. We will definitely be coming back.

The service was good. It stops there. The prices were ok but I felt over priced for what you get. I can’t believe they serve canned green beans! My husband’s seafood platter was some frozen seafood that was dropped in hot oil and they charged $20 for it! They have literally no vegetarian meals so I got spaghetti and asked them to hold the meat. The sauce was sweet and came out of a can. It was obvious that there is no chef here, but an amateur cook who can open cans and fry food.

Food was ok at best. Pancakes tasted like batter and I had egg shells in them. Not much variety on the breakfast menu and the price is the most expensive I have seen for breakfast in awhile. Service was nice though.

Not at all impressed. A musty smell with visible water stains on the carpet. Our eggs tasted like cinnamon, american fries were room temp, and the “homemade toast” the waitress said they had was out of a bag. $25 for 2 breakfasts and 1 coffee $30 with tip.

I read over the reviews and was quite surprised. I have enjoyed this restaurant ever since first stopping in on a whim. Sure it isn’t a posh, swank, urban joint. It is what it is, a humble, nautical themed Family Restaurant. The food, however, is why I come! I’d never had a pasty before. The servers have always been kind, funny and involved every time I have been there and I have never had to wait to be served. I always get the pot roast because it is AMAZING! It reminds me of my grandmothers food and she has since passed so it has been a Must Stop for us every time we go up north to vacation in Petoskey/Good Hart area. The pasty’s are amazing too! My spouse always gets one when we go there. We try to cram in a couple of stops during our vacations, if possible! Audie’s on the other side of the bridge is ALSO VERY GOOD!

Great service, but thats it. My chicken dinner was terrible, dry and too much breading. Mashed potatoes were instant and tasted like hospital food. Waitress was nice and ambiance was there.

I’m not sure what place this is but if it’s that vegan restaurant I went to in Detroit then it was amazing! My moon and aunt got the sweet potatoe fries with that spicy dip and that was my favorite thing. I hope to find that around here. I want to know what that dip was, the spicy goes so well with the sweet. I got pad Thai and it was good as well.

Our waitress was very personable and friendly. The food was delicious, and the restaurant was in walking distance from many of the town’s attractions. Short walk to the beach. Just a great little place!
