Amazing little venue. We had so much fun coming here. The staff was great and our bartender made a very nice spicy Bloody Mary. The owners were there and they were awesome. The Sunday brunch was more than I expected. The food was great and the portions were large. There is a stage and a beautiful outdoor patio. There is live music a few nights a week! Make sure you stop in when you are in town and check them out. We will be back for sure.

This place is a hidden gem in Farmville. My family and I had just come off a long bike ride along High Bridge Trail and were looking for a place to grab a meal and some refreshments. North Street Press Club not only came highly recommended to us by a friend but was also just a few blocks from where we parked to hit the trail which made for a pleasant five minute walk through downtown Farmville along Main Street.

Customer Service always is a premium at NSPC. We enjoy being able to walk there from the Piedmont Real Estate office on High Street. Their food selection is wonderful, and servers are always prompt to take our orders. They have some flexibility to modify menu items, and that’s much appreciated. We’ve been to visit a number of times for lunch, and their food always tastes fresh. Usually, I order their salads, and the salad greens are top quality and the grilled chicken is consistently delicious. There are a number of vegetarian options of their menu, and that a wonderful option to have available for some people!

I loved the press club as it was a breath of fresh air in FarmVille. However, the quality has gone down as time goes on. I’m not going to blame the servers/cooks as they are already underpaid and just trying to do their jobs but the quality of food has taken a hard it. It went from quality first and foremost to Applebees standards. I usually just let things slide but this has been a common experience for the past several times I’ve been there. Food served on dirty plates, unwashed veggies, and random fruit thrown in. Good thing I’m not allergic to anything or that would have been a cool surprise. Sad to see another place in town accept the mediocre standards that FarmVille oozes.

The back patio was amazing at night with lights, trees, and good music. Service was also fast and polite. I enjoyed the food too and would definitely go back. The only slight down side was the scallops were overcooked, but they were still well seasoned despite being a bit rubbery.
