I ordered a bar-b-que poor boy. I liked it but my only complaint, the bun was a little hard. I didn’t want the beans that it cones with plus a side, so they gave me double potato Salad. Overall, it was delicious.

I had the special of the day which was a choice of fried or grilled pork chops, the price was pretty good and the service was very fast. I had mine fried and they were perfectly made and tender. Not too much batter used on em. The staff and our waitress was very friendly. The place was very clean. I’d recommend Nolan’s to everybody. Great place. Keep up the good work guys.

There are just some places you walk into and just feel the hometown vibes. Nolan’s is definitely one of them. The staff is awesome. The food is nostalgic for me but of course I had to go with the Chicken Fried Steak Special. It definitely hit the spot but I saw the Shrimp platter and wanted that!

Great food, I ordered the grilled pork chop, and it was juicy and grilled perfectly. My sister ordered the single chicken fried steak… she loved it. The side salad is only lettuce with one cherry tomato, I do wish they served better side salads… maybe add a slice of cucumber and sprinkling of cheese. But we will definitely be back. I do love that it is wheelchair friendly inside and very clean

I had their fried shrimp with a side of mashed potatoes and corn on the cob. It, also, comes with hush puppies. They gave me both brown and white gravy as I didn’t know which I’d like more. They originally gave me 5 shrimp, and the gentleman that brought my food realized that I was supposed to have been given 6 and brought me the last one. The shrimp was fresh and perfectly done. The hush puppies were a little doughy in the center. The potatoes were cold. The brown gravy tasted like it was just beef broth. The white gravy was ok but needed a little salt and pepper. The corn on the cob was cold.

The restaurant was clean and the staff was friendly. I had shrimp and catfish combo with salad and mashed potatoes. It was OK. The potatoes were a bit cold but the catfish and shrimp were nice and fresh. My hubby had the chicken fried steak and it was good. He said he would have it again. His potatoes were a bit cold and the potato salad was horrible.

My husband and I ordered takeout. I ordered chicken fried steak he ordered chicken fried chicken. I asked to have a loaded baked potato without the sour cream asked for them to put the sour cream on the side, got the orders open it up and it look good however the chicken fried steak was about 85% chicken fried batter and I even asked if they could have the batter lighter and they said yes they could they also said they could put the sour cream on the side. I couldn’t hardly find the steak part of it. It was all batter. I Was very disappointed I had to scrape out the sour cream on my baked potato when you don’t like sour cream on your baked potato it ruins the baked potato for you. Again very disappointed because I was very much looking forward to the meal. The price was right at $30 for the two meals which wouldn’t have been bad except a large part of it went into the trash cuz I did not want to eat all the batter that was around the steak nor did I want to eat the baked potato that had this sour cream IN it The beans would have been good if they were not so cold I do realize it was takeout however I live less than 2 minutes from where Nolan’s is. My husband said the chicken fried steak wasn’t bad it had less batter on it then the chicken fried steak. I was going to order their poor boy sandwich I wish I had, maybe it would have been better. I tried to support local owned so again this was very disappointing.
