Food: The three orders of fries were stale, soggy and it looks like the potato used was black and had gone bad. The burgers are nothing to brag about, and Culver’s down the street are better. The hot dog dripped globs of oil when taken out of the wrapper.

A Milwaukee legend across from the airport on Layton. Only open in summer. They close for the day when they run out of food so go earlier than later. Cash only. You will not be disappointed.

Nite Owl is a burger everyone needs to experience once. It’s a Milwaukee legendary burger. Cash only and get there early. Customer’s actually tail gate in the lot! Well, the burgers are best when you get them, so why not make the best.

Where’s the burger from the years past. Where’s the grease? It WAS the best burger ever. We wait all winter and then when you did open we were sadly disappointed. I stopped the owner one day and asked about it. He told me no nothing has changed and if I didn’t like it don’t buy it. So I haven’t gone back and neither have all the people I told about how great it was in the good old days.

Classic burger and shake joint. The guy at the window was super nice, and both the food and service will have me coming back. Make sure to bring cash, they don’t accept card

Cute, old school drive-in. Double cheeseburger was thick and juicy. Very good!!! The fried onions I asked for were extremely minimal though. Fries were decent. Could of been cooked a tad longer. Fast and friendly service. All in all, a pleasant foodie experience. I will definitely be back. FYI…..cash only. No debit or credit cards.

Solid burger. I have criss crossed the country eating burgers out of Hamburger America. This one was solid and would get again. I got the bacon cheeseburger with everything. I would recommend getting it without mustard so you can taste the meet. Fries are crinkle cut and you get a lot for $3. Strawberry shake tastes like strawberries which is a positive in my book.

The burgers are delicious. Definitely go on an empty stomach because the burger is huge. I got a single mushroom and swiss. Yum yum!

Personally I’m not a fan of the “we close when there are no burgers left” but I know for others this is totally part of the charm and it’s been this way for a long time.
