Excellent hole in the wall, hidden away. Amazing food and service. Food came out quickly with great service.

Overpriced and overrated unfortunately! This used to be the spot for Sycamore to go for Mexican food. The last couple of years new management took over and the quality went down and the prices went up. I took a year off to see if it would improve and unfortunately it got worse! Too bad…. There are better options to choose from in the area fortunately.

Great and nice hospitality but the food quality and price is terrible. The horrchata is watered down and the taco plate , I’ve had better . Due to the over pricing, id rather spend 13$+ on a meal that actually taste delicous .. Wouldn’t return .

We’ve come here quite a bit over the last year or so. At first I gave them a 5 star review because their food was great the very first time we got it. It’s pretty pricey for what you get, but I’m happy to support a smaller family owned business. It’s a small hole in the wall restaurant but it was kind of a hidden gem. Progressively over these past months their food has gotten worse and worse. There are a few things that are great but it’s a hit or miss. Their red and green sauces are great but there is no consistency as to how they’re made. Sometimes they have a spicy kick to them other times not so much. Their tamales aren’t worth it at all. The sizes have gotten smaller and smaller but their prices went up. I understand the price increases but you shouldn’t skimp out on what you’re serving on top of raising the price. Our tamales tonight we’re about the size of a quarter in diameter and maybe 6 inches long. 1 &1/2 of those inches had absolutely no meat and this was for all five of our tamales. They were so dry that not only could I not slice into it with my fork but the ends were so dry that they actually crunched. They were a hard dried out dough consistency as a whole. THEY WERE ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE. So bad that I honestly don’t think we’ll be back. Their corn in a cup was watery (not creamy and/or buttery) and the corn was so disgustingly soggy, we couldn’t even finish it. It looked and tasted like it was going bad. We spent $75 on food half of us couldn’t eat and didn’t enjoy. You’d think that considering there are now 4 Mexican food restaurants all within a mile of each other in town now that they’d take more pride in the food they serve. We’ll take our business elsewhere next time.

Great experience! Tried the Burrito Suizo and wife the Veggie Burrito. And, oh my! You could feed a family on just one they’re so large. Tasty, great service, good chips and salsa. Give them a try.

We have visited twice. The first time would’ve been 5 stars but one week later I order quesabirrias and they were the worst shells were soggy and burnt and the kid serving acted like we were a bother to him.. but let me say the quesabirras have always been great and the service is usually great with a smile!

Got 2 lengua tacos and a carnita burrito. Lengua tacos were real solid. Not the best I’ve ever had but super solid and was good with either the salsa verde or rojo. Carnita burrito was very good. Tender and flavorful meat I think it had a bit to much beans but super solid none the less. Almost took me back to chicago. Will definitely be back.

We love this small gem of a restaurant when we go through Sycamore. Blink and you might miss it. Great food, prices, and service. The horchata, pineapple, and cantaloupe juice are fantastic.
