Straight out of my childhood, the perfect mid-western chili dog. If you know, you know. Perfect soft bun, moist dog, and tasty meat sauce. Good solid tamale too. We got the special with 2 dogs, a good deal. Cole slaw good too. I traveled 2,000 miles and it was totally worth it for this dog alone.

First time going here and go lunch for me and some friends, two Chicago combos and a sm nacho deluxe. The service was friendly and polite though the drive through wait was a while. (10+min for two cars and then myself) Food was below average unfortunately. Friends didnt like the combos and didnt evwn eat the slaw. The nachoes were fine. Quite a lot for a small which is cool. I prefer Lou’s.

Wow, amazing breakfast. Probably the most under rated breakfast place in Peoria because people don’t know they’re open for breakfast. Open from 7:00am-6:00pm Monday-Saturday.

It’s a small place but they bring the food out to you. I had the Chicago Hotdog (fully loaded hotdog) and it was very good. For a simple quick meal this place is very good. I highly recomend a visit.

Weird vibe in the restaurant. Not sure if it’s family owned and maybe they were just fighting the day I was there or what. Not good enough food to go back and feel like I’m watching a day time talk show about family dysfunction.

Disappointed, fries were still raw in the middle, coleslaw was nasty and dry. And the worst part is right before when are food was coming up employee coming walking threw the kitchen with no mask and started waiting on the customers and never did put one on. Don’t waste your money or health, avoid this place.

Disappointment never heard of this place my mom told me about it and i always loved velvet freeze wonder dogs so my daughter and i on friday night which was last night went there. It was 6:05 pm two girls were standing behind counter drinking sodas. The door was locked open sign was on i tried door again was locked and the two girls just looked at is thru the windows and turned around. Left and went to chilis disappointed such disrespect from these girls as we were there in the cold and said was open

Been wanting to try this hotdog place out and finally did. I was only expecting hotdogs, but they have a huge menu, but I chose the Chicago Dog with fries, slaw and a drink. Cost almost 12.00. Hotdog was huge with lots of toppings. Fries were run of the mill, but the slaw was best that I’ve had in a long time. Inside dinning area is small, but I was the only one there except a couple of employees or I believe they were. They have all of the condiments on the table along with two different brands of hot sauce. The napkin holder said that the napkins are made from recycled napkins…..don’t know if that sounded appetizing. Overall I wasn’t disappointed, but wasn’t thrilled. Hopefully I’ll return at some point to try a different menu item or two. They seem to have a faithful following and I believe it will grow.
