Let me start out by saying that I had never been to Nils Swedish Creamery before. My friend kept telling me how wonderful their ice cream was for a few weeks. I decided to stop one day and try it. I got everyone at home one of their own and I am glad I did! The ice cream is so creamy, airy and just undescribable. This is where ‘tasteavision’ needs to be invented because one little taste and you my friend WILL BE HOOKED! They make everything in small batches BY HAND and use ingredients that you can actually pronounce! They are located in a quaint and cute building that even adds to the ambiance. They have table and chairs outside so you can relax and enjoy.

Lots of reviews mention frustration with not being able to see the ice cream, but there’s about 30 flavors to choose from and by the name of the ice cream, you can pretty easily imagine what it might look like. The best part about ice cream is that you eat it with your mouth, so not seeing it prior to ordering isn’t all that wild of a concept. Most restaurants I go to don’t have each and every dish presented for my weird viewing pleasure prior to ordering. Go try the ice cream, it’s awesome. And if you need to see it before hand, google “Ice Cream” on your way in and peruse the images.

Cute little ice cream shop. Their ice cream is creamy and delicious. We have now been here twice and have tried a variety of their flavors. I personally loved the banana cream pie it has tiny chunks of banana . The staff is friendly and it’s nice and clean inside. Definitely worth the stop.

Went out of our way to go to this place and it was not good. The girl at the register was not friendly, the ice cream is in the back, so you can’t even look at it and get an idea of what you’re ordering? Not sure if you can sample the flavors or not but considering someone would have had to go into the back and bring a small scoop of it back…what a pain. The inside is very loud and empty and the lighting is awful. Just not a cozy or welcoming atmosphere at all. Employees really do make or break a place and the entire atmosphere was dull and dreary.

Great local ice cream shop. Has the best ice cream in town! It’s delicious and creamy with unique flavors. Cookie Butter is by far the best there. The artist who decorated and paints the walls and sorts is extremely talented!
