Food is good and fresh. Great breakfast sandwiches. However, coffee is mediocre and they frequently get my order wrong. I’ve ordered three deli andwiches on three different occasions and they somehow got the order wrong all three times, despite watching them write my order down correctly. Might just stick to bagels in the future..

Do not recommend. They use the pre cracked egg mix you buy in a bottle. Taylor ham was barely cooked. Asked for ketchup 3x…got our sandwiches and guess what ? No ketchup. Literally threw away the sandwiches they were THAT bad.

Went in for a breakfast sandwich on a bagel. 1 egg, cheese and maybe 2 slices of bacon and with a small coffee (not good coffee) was $7.50. The breakfast sandwich was fine, would have expected more bacon given the price, but all in all a decent breakfast sandwich on a nice bagel. Then I asked the guy what was his favorite sandwich as I wanted to bring one to work for lunch. The Sammie was his recommendation which is chicken cutlet with bacon, roasted red pepper and mozzarella and Peter Lugar sauce. I asked what kind of bread it comes on and he said he does it on a round roll but he could put it on a sub roll or bagel or anything I wanted, so I said sub roll. He also gave me a taste of the chicken salad which tasted great, but looked “not fresh”. Saw him making the Sammie with care, but when I got charged $14.50 for sandwich and a small bag of chips ($2.50), I was surprised because I saw “signature sandwiches” were $8.99 up on the board. Manager (super nice) pointed to the small print on the side that said extra $2.50 for sub roll and $1 for wrap….I guess that was my bad. When I got to work I dug in…Decent flavors and good bread and would have been a really good sandwich (and nice sized even for $12) but the chicken cutlet was dry and hard like a puck (see dark hard cut through chicken in photo, supposed to be white meat….). the cutlet should have been thrown out rather than used for a sandwich. It’s a shame because I remember Augie’s being so great a few years ago….I imagine this was just a one time thing and they are more careful about quality control…I saw them hand slicing deli meat and prepping for the lunch push with care. I love to support a local place like this and will likely be back to give another try.

Despite the many varied reviews I decided to go here as it was the closest to my jobsite.

I used to love Augies Bagels but they have changed. I’m not sure if they changed hands but the bagels have shrunk, don’t taste fresh and I ordered a bagel with cinnamon walnut cream cheese, it is virtually nonexistent (see photo). $7 for 2 tiny bagels, both with almost no cream cheese.

never saw a place that is so hit or miss. just had one of the worst sandwiches in my life. three slices of disgusting chicken on stale dry bread and one spray of balsamic. i have had some great sandwiches there, i stopped going for two years because they consistently put cheese on my sandwich even after asking them not too. that happened two or three times. now im out. never again

I will never be going too Angie’s again. It seems every single time me and my girlfriend want too grab something quick from there being we are local they mess up our order. I ordered two everything bagels with cream cheese too get home and realize they threw two bagels in a bag and called it a day. Last time we ordered my girlfriend got a Taylor ham egg and cheese on a roll and received it on a plain bagel with no egg. It’s extremely upsetting too not receive what your ordered especially when you drive back home too realize but 2-3 times of messing up your order is just absurd. If i could figure out how too give them half a star i would. This place is expensive and can’t get anything right !!!!

A few days ago I ordered a couple sandwiches from this place through DoorDash. One of the sandwiches was a liverwurst sandwich. They were apparently out of liverwurst so instead of calling to see what else I’d like they simply cancelled the one sandwich but sent the other. My son ate, I did not. Frustrating as heck but I figured mistakes happen, I’ll give them another chance. So today I order a bagel and a corn muffin and ask for a side of butter. Bagel and muffin arrived (hard as a rock) and on the receipt they wrote “did not pay” next to the request for butter. Are they even serious? Who sells a bagel or muffin NOT expecting someone to ask for cream cheese or butter. And what a trivial thing to not provide! Bad business folks. You need to re visit your procedures and Do Better! I DoorDash constantly because my time is super limited and good places get a ton of my business. Sadly you’ll not hear from me again. Two strikes, you’re done. Good luck!
