Nice jazz music playing softly. I used the self checkout. Got a water. Thought $3.49 was a little steep for a soda fountain drink. Was a little taken aback by the prompt to tip, especially when I’m having to use self checkout. The server was so sweet I felt as if she were an old friend. The Mediterranean Pizza was THE BEST I have ever had at any Newk’s Location. Exceeded my expectations 100%. Great job Newks!!!!

Beautifully decorated for the holidays. Order taken by the GM. She was knowledgeable and got us done quickly even though we needed help on what we wanted. Received our food quickly and perfect. GM stayed busy clearing tables and greeting customers. Not sure if they were short staffed or she’s a team player. My vote is for the latter. Would definitely recommend and eat there again

We met some friends here as they said this location wasn’t as busy as the Hoover location. I ordered the supreme pizza and my wife half garden salad. Both were very good. We will be back at one of the Birmingham locations to try other items from their menu.

Let me first start over by saying the food was pretty good. Now here to the bad and disgusting part. After we received our food I saw one of the workers with a tooth pick in his mouth picking his teeth where they prepare the pizza at. The fact he felt comfortable enough to do this while talking to another co-worker, shows this the type of thing that go on all the time.
To top it off the manager keeps patting her head, guess it’s itching. I am glad I watched them fix my food before the foolishness started. I will not be returning. At this point it’s best to eat at home because hygiene is terrible. Also, what’s the use of making them wear gloves when they go touch everything and go back to work preparing food.

I placed an online order for the Salmon Caesar Salad with no croutons. When I went to pick it, they had added croutons which wasn’t a big deal. When I got home and opened up the wrapped salmon, I noticed that the inside was still VERY RAW. I have eaten at other locations before and never had this issue.

The staff are very nice and work hard for what I assume is not enough money. But the food is abysmal. I am not exaggerating when I say that the pizza and salads are on par with the gas station across the street. I spent $42 on two salads (with water to drink) and could have easily gotten better salads from the refrigerated bin at the Chevron across the street.
I’ve had their pizza in the past, and its quality is about on par with Hunt Brothers gas station pizza. Not inedible, but you really shouldn’t be paying more than $2 per slice for it, and you definitely shouldn’t be eating it during the day or when you’re sober.
It’s basically upscale hospital food. You can eat it. It probably won’t hurt you. But you can do a lot better for a lot less money. There’s literally not an ounce of joy, love, or pride in this food. Stay away.
And if you work there, and you’re reading this… don’t bother. You know I’m right.

This afternoon I ordered a newks favorite to dine in earlier today, and while I was going to use the restroom I observed an employee making my salad without gloves.
This person then proceeded to dig in their nose and when they were finished they whipped their boogers onto the plate I was going to eat on so that ultimately means that the booger ended up in my salad.
I was going to speak to a manager about this situation but I was so disgusted I walked straight out of the restaurant. I never asked for a refund or an apology I don’t want to handle any of this locations money who knows what they do when they’re isn’t any customers around to hold them accountable.
I want the employee who almost had me eating their booger to be held accountable and fired from this location. Obviously they aren’t concerned about customer safety and definitely not fit to work with food. Who knows how many times this has happened without anyone catching them.
