Supreme Seafood was built and opened in 1989 by Vinny Caprio and Ralph Amendola. 35 years later it was purchased by two friends and restaurant professionals who were looking to start a restaurant group while utilizing all the knowledge they had gained in the combined 50+ years of their restaurant and hospitality careers. We use only the highest quality seafood being delivered fresh every day in all our menu items. As food lovers and chefs ourselves, we believe in providing the best food and service to all our customers. In addition to what we offer on-site at our location in North Branford, CT we also offer party platters, off-site catering and private party menus.
Enduring pit stop serving basic seafood bites such as clam rolls & fried shrimp in unfussy environs.

I’m originally from Connecticut but live in Florida..when I visit my 1st stop is Supreme Seafood for Whole Belly Clams… for Valentines Day I decided to send my best friend a Whole Belly Clam Dinner thru Uber Eats when I called Supreme to get advice how to do this I spoke to Cam & Ron they were both VERY helpful… I was a little nervous this being the first time doing this but I am truly VERY pleased with it from start to finish and would definitely do it again and highly recommend the service… this restaurant review deserves more than 5 stars!!!! thank you again..

I had a fantastic experience eating at Supreme Seafood last week. I tried a bunch of different dishes and they all did not disappoint! The surf and turf burger was phenomenal and the Caesar salad topped with lobster is my new favorite dish. Everything tasted so fresh and delicious. The staff was very attentive and kind, making my experience a 10/10. I will definitely be back again!

One visit to Supreme Seafood and they very much have our hearts! Not only was all of the food delicious, but their portion sizes are impressive! We still can’t get over the size of their “smallest” lobster roll – I can tell you they didn’t skimp out and it had nice chunks of claw meat! Another one of my favorites was the calamari supreme, which is made with their homemade marinara sauce and was truly addicting. Every week they do a special with a fresh catch called “Off the Hook”. It was mahi mahi when we went, and it was fantastic! So many options for land lovers too. Great wings, and the chicken parm sandwich was a showstopper with that big slab of fried mozz! A great casual spot with friendly staff. We’ll definitely be coming back when we’re in the area!

The quality of the seafood has not been what it was a few years ago. Shrimp and corn chowder was ok. Clam strips were chewy. This was our third time in the last year and the outcome has been the same. Sorry, but we will not be going back. Third strike and we’re done

Supreme Seafood remains one of my favorite quick serve seafood restaurants. Staff is friendly and service is great.
Although Supreme Seafood focuses on seafood, they also serve great hot dogs, burgers, grilled chicken and a variety of side dishes.
The 5-ounce lobster roll was excellent and a relative bargain at $26. If you order it as a platter for an extra $5 you get a side dish and a very generous portion of French fried. I special ordered the lobster roll with the butter on the side and cold lobster inside of a toasted Apicella buttered roll and received exactly what I ordered. A signature butter sauce containing lemon juice is available. The lobster bisque and New England clam chowder are also excellent.
The restaurant was busy with almost every table occupied but there is also outdoor seating.
This is a very small place in a strip mall but the food was absolutely incredible and the portions very generous. If you’d like fried clams, you won’t find a better place. Service was quick, and the staff was helpful and friendly.
Based on my latest visit, the food is still great. Prices are higher for food everywhere but at least the portions are generous. If you want a particular dish, perhaps call ahead to see if it is available since on my latest visit, they were out of fried calm strips and scallops, which seems a little odd. Love the coleslaw and the lobster roll at $50 which contains a half pound of lobster and is served hot. French fries come in a generous portion, enough for 2 or 3 people. I don’t recommend the crab cake which was a bit mushy and inferior to what you can buy frozen in the supermarket. The lobster bisque was excellent with a generous portion of lobster meat.

I went here new years eve for a to go order. Ordered 4 items and portions are not big as everyone raves about. We purchased the stuffed soles for 30 and they had 4 small rolled up portion of fish and 5 pieces of vegetable sorry but that portion is ridiculous. I also bought the seafood casserole and dont expect a casserole its shrimp, lobster, clams thrown in a dish with 5 vegetables and little rice lmao. The truffle fries were ok and had cheese on one section of the to go but not really flavored and the last was the calamari. It had red sauce all over it and was the weirdest calamari I have ever seen. This place is over priced for small portions.

Ordered from uber eats just with in the hour I ordered fried calamari dinner with a soda. Did receive my soda the calamari dinner was not what i ordered i wanted fried calamari dinner this is my first and last time wasting my money on this. Very disappointed I called supreme Seafood to talk about the order and they said oh I need to take it up with Uber eats which I think is very unprofessional and just pass in the buck. Never again disappointed in both Supreme seafood and Uber eats

They had Fish and Cheese Grits as part of their Juneteenth menu and I was blown away. I love dishes that celebrate holidays especially this one that is dear to me, but this one, I mean this dish should be on the year-round menu.
