I ordered the makrona bashamel, 2 pieces of kofta, salad, and tehena. First time trying Egyptian based pasta dish…it was OK. But, the kofta were amazingly tender and juicy(made to order), and I also enjoyed the salad with tahini sauce .

I really had high hopes for Neama’s, but this place was a letdown. My girlfriend and I came for a quick dinner before a show at the Appell Center. The service was slow despite there only being one other table occupied. Several people came to sit down after we arrived and left without even ever being acknowledged by the staff. We waited and ordered. I got the Makrona Bashamel with Kofta, salad, and Tehena. The kofta was really flavorful. The Macrona Bashamel was bland with no seasoning at all that I could notice. The worst disappointment was the Koshary my girlfriend ordered. It was boiled macaroni pasta, plain lentils, a couple of fried onions and what tasted and looked like marinara sauce from a can. No spices, no flavor. I really hope this was just a bad night for the restaurant, but I won’t be going back to find out.

We came here after recovering from an alcoholic coma the night before. The food was delicious, service was great. The Egyptian coffee is not ur typical American coffee so prepare urself.

Very, very good Egyptian cuisine! The mint lemonade was divine! The service was fast and friendly. We were even lucky enough to get fresh baklava with pistachios! Definitely coming back

We had the lamb gyro, lemon mint and mango strawberry drink. I also tried the rice pudding and baklava. The gyros were incredible the lamb seasoned to perfection and all super fresh ingredients. The tzaziki sauce was incredible. The desserts and drinks were equally as wonderful. The lemon mint drink was so fresh and refreshing. I can’t wait to go back!

The owners are lovely. They are very patient and explained all the options. It’s a family-owned restaurant that focused on comforting, hearty Egyptian dishes. I think they served a few dishes I didn’t expect like a lasagna and chicken pasta dish. Everything I had was good!

Happened to walk by this place when I was in the area and was intrigued. Never really had proper Egyptian or middle eastern food before. I asked my coworker who is from Cairo, and he recommended I try koshary, which is what you see in the image.

Friendly staff. My favorite was the Mango/Strawberry juice. Prices were a bit high, a falafel plate and drink was ~$15.
