Navigator’s bar is nestled away on NAS Key West in the back corner of Boca Chica. The bar is from 4 – 8 PM, Monday – Thursday & 12 – 8 PM, Friday – Sunday. Fly Away cafe is located inside the bar and they are open Daily, 10 AM – 6 PM. Come join us on the weekends for live entertainment or to hang out on our isolated beach.

Yummy food – my husband split their fish sandwich with sweet potato fries – both were delicious! We also rented kayaks from them and kayaked around the area. Great renting price! And we swam at the beach. There’s a fun doc that you can swim over to and jump off of!

Great little swimming area to bring younger children. Only one area where it can be considered deeper than the rest. Water gets murky if the bottom is disturbed. Saw a small variety of fish, jellyfish and horseshoe crab. Area is nice and clean. The rinse station isn’t great.

Very comfy and wonderful atmosphere. Our Bartender made the most perfect Martini!! Fantastic prices. Miller Light Draft tasted fresh with great carbonation. A must go to place!!!

The bar is right one base so there limited access for civilians, but the people are friendly and its right on the beach. It also has a small restaurant that has a decent menu (i recommend the wings. They have a good selection of beers and pitchers are only 11 bucks. Highly recommend coming here if your here on det. or just want to come with the family to paddleboard or go kayaking.

Quality doesn’t seem to be as good as it was a few years ago. Blackened mahi is good, but a bit greasy. Nice view of the water, but limited seating. Depending on how many squadrons are in town it can get very busy. If the base has a lot of extra people, recommend calling ahead.
