I visited Nate’s for the first time a couple weeks ago. It was a Friday night and there was live Jazz music outside. We enjoyed the night just relaxing and listening to music with a beer in hand and a stogie. Great atmosphere and staff. We will definitely be back.

Had a bad experience with one of the bartenders ( tall white guy ) he was very rude. My boyfriend and I were sitting at the bar ( like other people) he asked if we can move so other people can order…..he wouldn’t tell the guy next to me that was blocking the bar way and when I refused he got upset. I was letting people order and I apologized to him. I got another drink and he told my bartender that was serving us to stop serving us. We never have issues there, but this guy got upset ( after I apologize) bc he got a taste of his own medicine. The mgr was nice and paid for our drinks bc he felt bad. This guy needs to know how to treat customers better than that. We spend a lot of money there every time we visit. To be treated like that is unprofessional.

Nate’s is a cozy little downtown gem located in central Buda. The coffee is amazing and the sandwiches are healthy and keep you feeling wholesome on a fall day. Great spot to meet with your friends or a group of gals to chit chat and catch up. The outdoor patio is also amazing with a large oak tree and Hill country ambiance that the canopy creates. A new structure with a very well designed interior and sophisticated Hill country feeling. Stop in and grab a cup of joe you.. won’t regret it!

Nate’s is a great place to stop for a casual evening or hang out. It has a chill atmosphere where you can catch up with friends and have a tasty beverage. They host some fun events like mix tape bingo if you want to participate. The staff are friendly and provide excellent service. The facilities are clean and well kept. Love this spot!

I had high hopes for this place. Maybe we got an off night… We went last weekend (May 13th). We were hitting a few spots in Buda to celebrate out anniversary. The ambiance was cool (hence two stars instead of one) but the bartender had no idea what was going on… I mentioned I was looking on the website for what special cocktails were available to which she responded that the website wasn’t up to date. I asked her what their current drink specials were, she named off two drinks but gave no details as to what was in them so I asked if either drink was a vodka drink and she couldn’t remember the drinks she told me previously. There should at least be a drink menu of some sort or a board with the current specialty drinks on it… maybe I missed it but you’d think the staff behind the bar would know what they are. We opted to just get a lemon drop and an old fashion, both of which were mediocre and we sat outside. I will say that the waitress tending the outside area did come to check on us twice while we were out there which was nice but the bartender just ruined Nates for us. There’s more to working behind a bar than just letting your chest hang out for tips. We might try it again sometime and see if one of the guy bartenders know what they are doing but we don’t get to get out to open so I’m sure it’ll be a while.
