Father’s day brunch was fast and friendly. As expected, short line to get a table but the quick turn around from ordering to help keep the family from waiting long. Fresh brewed hazelnuts coffee was steaming hot and tasty. Enjoyed the Irish Bene and I suggest ordering the hash (as a side, if not part of your order) as it is well cooked and seasoned. Highly recommended brunch spot and ended up being a great stop on the way to the airport.

We were somewhat disappointed with our lunch at Janie’s Uncommon Cafe. We had heard such great reviews of their breakfasts, we were assuming lunch would be equally good. It was OK, but nothing to write home about. I had the Southwest Chicken Salad. It was OK, I guess; I’ve had better. It took a lot of work to cut up the chicken and the rest of the salad was OK, but not outstanding. My wife’s chicken wrap left her less than satisfied with the chicken it contained; too dry, etc. The holiday egg nog coffee was a total disappointment; ended up sending it back. This is probably a good place for breakfast.

Very open and comfortable small town meets retro diner! Walked in and out with my on the spot take-out order with under 5 minutes! The staff were great and friendly. I was asked multiple times if I had been waited on. Their breakfast sandwiches are delicious! Not just your run of the mill breakfast sandwhich! Overall very impressed and will tell others to stop in

I love ruben sandwiches and usually order them if I see them on the menu. I’ve had hundreds of Rubens, but this place so far has the best one I’ve ever had. The staff are incredibly happy and helpful. The service was excellent. I would recommend this place to anyone.

Great family breakfast place, lots of seating. Even with all the seating it can get very busy on Saturday and Sundays. Staff are friendly and helpful, and the food is tasty.

Food quality was not so great. I liked the coffee but $3.50 for cup of coffee is not reasonable. Even if the cup had a chip in it. I’ll probably go somewhere else next time. These high star reviews are misleading.

The reason why this is 4 stars and not 5 is because the first time we went there we were greeted by the owner, it was a Sunday, the staff and the food was amazing, but the second time not so much. Second time we went there was a weekday, a Thursday, it wasn’t very busy. We asked the waitress if we could sit without our third guest because we wanted a coffee and wanted to talk and he was only 10 minutes away. The hostess at first said no, so then I looked we looked at each other like “ok……..” I think she could tell we didn’t like it then sat us. If this was a busy weekend I would’ve never asked, I’ve worked at restaurants I know. There were a plethora of empty tables and our third person arrived maybe 8 minutes after we sat, if that. Other than that, their specials are my favorite. Always something interesting. I found them around thanksgiving time and the turkey plates were bomb!! The bread is the best bread around for breakfast places and the food is always very fresh and tasty. Always top choice for breakfast in the area.
