What a fun old fashioned drive inn! It will bring back memories for those born before 1970! The food was not as fun as the surroundings- but certainly edible as we finished every bite (we were famished). The haddock on the salad was fresh but I was hoping for a bit more than a 4oz serving. The salad in the salad was meh. The fried haddock dinner was flavorless except the fries- they were the best part of the meal. The oysters in the oyster stew was a bit tough but it had fresh ingredients. (It was milk, butter and oysters- add your own salt and pepper). We weren’t able to get refills on drinks or order a dessert . I think they may prefer you stay in the car. I’m glad we stopped but will not be visiting again. $$$ for what you get.

This is the best spot for the best lobster roll in the Brunswick area, great price, too. The service is excellent. I give 4 stars for atmosphere because of it’s small seating area indoors, it’s a little hilly, and don’t try to use the bathroom unless you are okay with going “sideways” and I was on crutches and it was nearly impossible to accomplish the goal. But all just part of the experience, the lobster is fabulous.

Ok- had to stop by and check this place out. First, it was on my list of places to review but I had here’s about it from my electrician. Yes, it is a whole in the wall place. Nothing to look at and no posh tables or chairs, but the food was amazing. The calamari was tender and came with the most robust garlicky butter sauce that we ended up using on everything else we ordered. I had the broiled haddock plate with fries and onion rings and MMC had the scallop special with sweet potato fries and coleslaw. The fish was cooked just right flaky and tasty and the scallops were tender and juicy. Both sets of fries were crisp and not greasy. It is not the cheapest and you have to pay for drink refills but it was fresh, the service was great and the food came out fast.

We didn’t just want a lobster roll, we wanted an authentic, Maine experience. We found that at Cameron’s. We were greeted with a warm welcome. Our waitress, Darby, was engaging and entertaining. Thanks for “Reserving” our table! We ordered the hot lobster roll per her guidance. DELICIOUS! She even “deconstructed” our strawberry shortcake to go. Can’t go wrong visiting this establishment.

Today is my birthday and my husband drove me down to the coast to celebrate. Our lunch stop was at Cameron’s…. PERFECT choice!! I have been wanting a lobster roll for my birthday lunch and I knew about this place from when I used to live in Brunswick. I was never able to stop by then because the parking lot was always busy.
Today’s visit was perfect on so many levels…it was both myself and my husbands first trip here, today was a special day AND the food was absolutely amazing.
I had the lobster roll basket with coleslaw and sweet potato fries, my husband ordered the grilled pastrami sandwich basket with regular fries and coleslaw and we split the Seafood Combo (it’s a 1/2 pint of fried clams, shrimp and scallops).
This was the best seafood I’ve had in a very long time. I make regular trips to the coast, and Cameron’s is our Go To for seafood.
I also wanted to mention that our waitress was absolutely fantastic. She was very personable, cheerful and made sure we had a great time.

My wife and I each had the lobster BLT and it was sublime 🙂 In addition, the sides of french fries, sweet fries, slaw and onion rings were also excellent. The o-rings in particular were perfectly cooked and the portion was generous (rare for rings these days). The atmosphere is nice – it’s local, as in, good food + good people = eat here. We’re definitely going back! (PS – the desserts also don’t disappoint 🙂

Delicious lobster rolls and fried seafood at a great price point. Fun atmosphere with the covered patio and drive-in spots. If I went to Bowdoin or lived in Brunswick I would be here at least once a week.

Crazy good, cute place!! Best fish and chips I’ve ever had. Their fries are amazing. The large lobster roll was smaller than I expected but tasted incredible. Excellent service too. They will take your order at your car and bring it to you – old school style. I love places like this. Please don’t ever “modernize” this gem
