First time there. Food and service both excellent. We had Chicken Tony and Pasta Three ways, with tortellini soup. Very attentive and friendly waitress. Will definitely return.

Server and atmosphere was nice. I ordered pasta with meat sauce. It was rather spicy and the meat was few and far between. Companion got the halibut and said it was over cooked, but the sauce was good.

Came here for a dinner with my family and had a great time. The bread and butter they served before dinner was amazing, though the butter was very salty so be warned if that’s something that bothers you.

I was craving authentic Italian food for my birthday, but didn’t want to drive to “The Hill,” so I opted to try this place. The ambience was nice, the customer service was great, and the food was terrific. The drinks were VERY potent, the pasta was tender, the cream sauce was superb, and the fresh bread was perfect. Their signature salad is tasty, but I especially loved the tiramisu and their unique cheesecake. Their tortellini is the best I’ve ever had. It can be a little pricey, but it’s well worth it – you’re going to get a quality meal and dining experience here. I’d definitely come back for special occasions or if I happened to be in Collinsville. Looking forward to trying some appetizers and other pasta options! My only complaint is that my serving of tiramisu wasn’t larger, I could eat a whole pan’s worth!

Normally we love Mungos. My family has been going there for years since before collinsville and the ruby Tuesdays looking remodel in O’Fallon and when covid happened we were some of their only patrons. Charles is the best of course(ask him to sing for you and you’ll enjoy I promise just make sure to leave him a great tip. However my wife and I just had a date there the other night. $200 like usual especially with the recent increases in price. Normally not an issue. Except that i got there early for my reservation and told them I was a few early. I then waited til 45 minutes after my reservation to finally be seated by the hostess seeming to have hot flashes and panic attacks. During the wait I watched her give away my reservation at my reserved time with Tony’s(owner) permission to a walk in that “had been waiting longer” which is confusing since I had a reservation and that’s literally the point of having one. This same couple also had their doggy bags before i saw a dinner salad. But surprise surprise they turned out to be friends with Tony. And I totally get taking care of your friends but my wife and I missed our after dinner movie which was prepaid and nonrefundable because you decided that seating them first was more important and frankly I find that distasteful.

It was busy, but we didn’t wait long to be seated, waited on or for our food! Which was delicious. Can’t wait until we go back!
