Mumbai is our go to restaurant. Great smells and taste. We go there almost weekly and have never been disappointed. It is cafeteria style but you can also order from the menu. The food is not as hot as Indian food can be but you can order it however you like it. No table clothes, very low key but clean and very reasonably priced. The food has always tasted fresh and delicious.

Just opening today, I was anxious to try this new (to West Chester) Indian spot. I’m a fan of Indian food, and I wasn’t disappointed here. I found a clean, well-designed restaurant with buffet food sold by weight, plus numerous a la carte selections. Prices are quite reasonable, and the service friendly (I guess it better be on opening day!). Anyway, I ordered off the menu, and received a nicely-done vegetable biryani; spicy, but not ultra-hot, and with plenty of vegies. My vegetarian partner got a mixed vegetable curry which she pronounced delicious. Even though we ate in, everything was served in take-out containers. This seemed odd, but we found the containers useful for our left-overs. Dinner for two was about $15, with enough left over for tomorrow’s lunch! This place should be a hit with the University and lunch crowd, as you can get a nice meal for around $5. Much luck to Mumbai Bistro; I will certainly be back.

This place is the worst Indian Restaurant by far. It was my first time trying Indian food at this location, and it was very disappointing. The worst part was that I found two hairs in the food. If you planning on eating from here check your food to make sure there is no hair. For me personally, finding hair in the food is a big turn off for me.
