The food was good and the atmosphere was enjoyable. It is obviously a popular stop on the bike trail. We sat outside after a short wait for a table. Our server was pleasant and did a great job of taking our order and suggesting items off the menu. The fries were perfectly fried and crispy. Either option, truffle or plain, are winning options. Parking is limited. We parked in the gravel area across the street from the restaurant.

Came here once in 2021 and had an amazing BBQ & eggs benedict with Alabama white sauce. Went back recently and got an avocado toast flight that was absolutely horrible. The english muffins were rubbery, the avocado was bitter, and the other toppings were just stale or the flavors didn’t work because of poor quality ingredients. I did like their cocktails, however. That hasn’t changed. But, what a bad second visit. I always go there with friends and they agreed that the food was not good this time.

Food was good and fairly priced. Service was also good. Cajun Poboy was large with plenty of shrimp & scallops. Onion rings were thin, done just right. However, seating on low picnic tables with too small umbrellas on a hot day was uncomfortable. Add in the dried bird droppings on the table and a swarm of ants, atmosphere was 1 star.

Tenderloin and fish and chips were fantastic. The top layer of nachos was very good but really lacked enough queso for what was under top layer. Bloody Mary flight was fun. Outdoor patio area for waiting was great.

Fantastic breakfast! Dropped in here for a quick meal since I’m staying at the Marriott close by. As someone who hasn’t had a good old American Breakfast in quite some time being overseas I can tell you whole-heartedly that this hit the spot. The service was fast, and although the bar tenders had a million grub hub and door dash orders they still served me quickly and efficiently, despite the fact that I was a solo person at the bar. I would definitely come here again!

Tons of fun, will for sure be coming back next visit IA. I stopped in for breakfast while friends and family ran the Dam to DSM. The service was topnotch! I had the country fried steak and eggs, and it was delightful. Since I was alone I sat at the bar, and everyone was super friendly.
