The hostess and owner is perfect in engaging with the clients right from the start and delivering tasty food at the same time. Tried both veg and non veg and loved them all. Came to this place after seeing the soft opening sign and decided to try it out. We were immediately greeted by the friendly staff and the restaurant gave a warm, family environment. The food was delicious! We ordered the Vijayawada Paneer Biryani,Pani Poori, and Mango Lassi. Everything was amazing! The meat was tender and moist with the biryani being packed with all the flavorful spices. It had a nice kick of heat, I’d say mildly hot. The pani poori included the mashed aloo with the combination of sauce/spiced water which made each bite explode with immense flavor. I’d definitely recommend this place and will be visiting again.

I loved the rava Masala dosa. The chutneys were awesome. Would definitely come here again, although I need to travel 3 hours away for it. The owners (both sisters) were kind and very welcoming. Liked everything about the place and hopefully they open one near Tulare or Visalia.

If we could give them zero stars, we would! My husband and I walked in to try lunch. A girl said she’ll be right with us. As we waited, a gentleman walked up and said we’d have a wait. My husband asked him about the table at the back but he said we can’t use it as the table is meant for 8 people. Mind you the table wasn’t big at all. Probably 4 could sit comfortably. We decided to leave as the wait time seemed like it would take a while but then they sat the couple down at a table immediately after us. They found a table for them and they were walk in also. Pathetic service! Do not go to this restaurant!!!

Happy that Mr. Dosa is in Elk Grove! The manager is wonderful, the restaurant was squeaky clean. Everything that we ordered tasted super fresh, could taste the fresh ingredients in the curries. The meat was cooked well also, some of the other places that we order from regularly tend to have overcooked dry meat. Will be our new go to for Indian.

First of all, place is really cozy. Please ignore some of the reviews about front of the restaurant is not up to par. They are basing their reviews of a little bit of inconvenience. My wife and I had great experience. Food is by far the best South Indian food I tasted in California. Their Indian coffee is a must try. If you love tandoori chicken then this place is for you. Their pani puri is packed with flavor. We are definitely coming back to this restaurant.
