I am so excited about an amazing lunch spot opening up on the corner of Barnes and Powers!! I ordered the BLT with their original chicken salad and it was incredible. I ordered a drink (fountain soda, delicious lemonade, and fresh iced tea) and a side of super creamy Mac and cheese and a free pickle was included with my meal. Overall, my lunch was delicious and I’ll definitely be back. They give you a little dessert cookie complimentary, which was awesome, too! We sat outside in a lovely shaded area. I can’t wait to come back and try more chicken salad options.

Cute, fast, affordable and delicious! Pretty much sums up my first time here. I enjoy that you can add an additional scoop instead of a side if you want. You can get your chicken salad on a bed of lettuce, as a scoop on as a sandwich. I tried the classic and the jalapeno chicken salad (and a bite of the onion). The classic is just that classic, no chunks of anything in it just all white meat chicken and mayo and seasonings. The jalapeno was a winner for me, slight tang to it and a small amount of bite to let you know there’s jalapenos but certainly not spicy. The onion had a great onion favor but you’d better like onions. Comes with a pickle, wheat crackers and a shortbread cookie. I opted for the triple and had a side of pasta salad. It was good, nothing remarkable but good nonetheless. It was busy but food came out fast and they have a wonderful patio you can sit on!

Really enjoyed my lunch here! I had a chicken salad melt, broccoli salad, and a slice of the piña colada pie, and all were excellent! Staff was friendly and it only took about 5 minutes to get my order. I’ll definitely be coming back!

The food was very good but also very pricy! I wish they had a chicken salad sampler. There are so many I wanted to try so I ended up buying their take home packs of five different varieties. Loved three, one was pretty good, and one was not so good and I wouldn’t get it again.

This has been my new obsession! The staff is super friendly and always are super quick. I can get here for my lunch break and be out the door within 10 minutes which you can’t beat. The price is good for what you get, and the prepackaged containers are awesome as well. I’ve tried the dillicous diva and the classic carol and both are delicious! The meal comes with a cookie, side, and pickle all for a little over $10. Definitively recommend for a quick lunch!

The food taste and quality are on par with the other locations in Alabama that I am used to, however, the customer service left much to be desired. Having worked in retail, I am sympathetic to busyness and the fact that it is a newer establishment, but it all seemed very chaotic. I placed a pickup DoorDash order and arrived shortly after being notified it was ready. I was told upon entering by someone that it wasn’t ready yet, which is fine. I proceeded to wait no less than 10 minutes before a second person asked if I was there for pick up. Seriously? The first person to speak to me took no ownership over the order. She did not communicate that I was waiting and had absolutely no follow through. Turns out, the chicken salad I ordered was sold out, but the person in the back plating the food had not even received my ticket to begin with… There was no acknowledgment or apology for having not started my order 15+ minutes after I placed it or that the ball was just totally dropped. There seems to be no adherence to any kind of process for pick up orders. Waiting for food or food that is out of stock is understandable. Poor customer service and carelessness, not so much.

I went here for the first time. Line was about 5 deep, but moving slow. I ordered original sandwich combo with broccoli salad. I don’t drink soda, so I asked for a cup for water. I then see on the screen $1.50 pop up. I asked the girl at the register do they charge $1.50 for a cup just to get water. She confirmed yes, I told her to take it off because that’s ridiculous.

The sandwich was good. The salads were clearly marked with a use by date that was 2 days before. That would be an easy trade at the counter but this was take out. I know that doesn’t always mean it’s bad but the greens were starting to soften.
