This was more like the neighborhood store atmosphere. I bought fresh Ox Tail, goat, beans and rice. All raw and fresh and a few spices, but there was a section to buy cooked food. There were plenty of people in line waiting to purchase food so I’m sure that there cooked food is delicious.

I have been going to mp for years. First spot had the restaurant, grocery store and dance club in the same location. Food has always been good. I have their oxtails, stew and chicken, plantains. Cabbage, Mac and cheese and rice. Food has always been good. When in Norfolk, VA stop by. They also have other locations.

This us the best food and shopping in town! Came here on a business trip and was in for a great treat! The prices are unbeatable and if you come in for lunch you will get a great deal. The grocery store is attached and has all the authentic grocery. EBT accepted!

Was in the 757 area and wanted oxtail from MPs..nice new place but food definitely tastes different. Cabbage wasn’t cooked well, too crunchy. Oxtail portions definitely smaller and flavor was off. Rice and peas missing something as well.The only thing that was excellent was the sweet potato pie. Guess somethings have to change who knows….will attempt to find another place with great oxtail.
