One of the top spots for bbq in Mesa. Their brisket is perfect everytime. I love the brisket egg and cheese burrito and the brisket sandwich. Add smoked ghost pepper for a delicious kick, but be warned! The mac salad and potato salad are great too. Service is always quick and friendly!

Fantastic BBQ and Mexican food…. seriously delicious. Service can be slow when it’s busy, with waits an hour long on a weekend. Unfortunately, the recently built surrounding homes have trimmed some of the old country charm. Also, no public restrooms, which can be a real inconvenience. Still a longtime favorite for great food, just know the trade-offs.

Under construction. New employees? I heard so many good things about this place. It really did not deliver. 45 minute wait to get food. So many people were waiting. I should have just left. Brisket Bean and Cheese lacked much. Next to no cheese and very little brisket. I don’t what it was but I am not interested in trying again.

I give them a 3.5 rating, more towards the 3, than the 4. No bathrooms, outside seating with lots of flies. Big line of people, and food is served slowly. I had the brisket, egg, and cheese burrito, sides of refried beans and rice. The burrito was big, and filling, but was lacking flavor. The rice was lacking flavor, same with the beans. At the end of the burrito, a large amount of greese began spilling out. This place is definitely not a 4.6 star bbq joint. My wife had the 1/2 rack of ribs, and potato salad, she liked them, and I tasted the potato salad, and it tasted good.

Upon delivering a trailer we borrowed, we asked if there was a place he recommended to have breakfast. Jalapeño Buck’s was just down the way. As curious as I was and the onset of being “hangry” was slowly approaching, I reluctantly ordered the 1/4 pound pb&j brisket sandwich. You read that right, peanut butter and jelly brisket. Who knew! The second I took a bite, that peanut butter melted into my mouth followed with that sweet jelly pushing its way at the corner of my mouth. Brisket was tender and tenderized just right for that combination to work. Did I mention the BUNZ! Toasted to perfection. Delicious Definitely a place I’m recommending. ❤️

Such a fun place! We love their chips and Salsa we always get a big bag and a couple of quarts when we have a party. The brisket bean and cheese burrito is my favorite. I keep meaning to take a picture to add but I gobble it up to fast! Don’t thing just go!

Waited an hour. No exaggeration, 1 hour, for a green chile burrito and 2 brisket enchiladas.
No restrooms, which if they’re gonna make you wait…I mean.
Staff was super friendly, probably a little overwhelmed. Enchiladas were not good. Definitely tasted like canned sauce and there was VERY little brisket in them. The green chile burrito did taste pretty good, albeit messy as could be (typical, I know)
I feel like this place could be cool, I’ve been told it used to be good but something’s lacking. Define not worth the trip.

I recently visited Jalapeño Bucks, and it was an extraordinary experience that I can’t wait to share. Nestled in the heart of Queen Creek, this spot is a hidden gem for anyone who loves delicious, flavorful food with a bit of a kick. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with a warm and friendly atmosphere that set the tone for the entire visit.

I ordered the Brisket, Egg, and Cheese Burrito, and it was nothing short of spectacular. The brisket was tender and flavorful, with a smoky richness that perfectly complemented the fluffy scrambled eggs and gooey melted cheese. The combination was wrapped in a fresh, warm tortilla that held everything together beautifully without overpowering the flavors inside. Each bite was a delightful blend of textures and tastes that left me craving more.

What really stood out to me was the quality and freshness of the ingredients. It’s clear that Jalapeño Bucks takes pride in sourcing the best possible products for their dishes. The brisket was cooked to perfection, with a melt-in-your-mouth quality that is hard to find. The eggs were light and fluffy, and the cheese added just the right amount of creaminess to balance out the other flavors.

The service was equally impressive. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, making sure that my order was just right and checking in to see if I needed anything else. Their genuine enthusiasm for the food they serve is infectious and adds to the overall positive experience.

In addition to the outstanding food and service, the atmosphere at Jalapeño Bucks is vibrant and welcoming. It’s a great place to relax and enjoy a meal with friends or family. Whether you’re a local or just passing through Queen Creek, I highly recommend stopping by Jalapeño Bucks for a memorable dining experience. Five stars all the way!

Very good food. Ambience is great, rustic and fun. Staff was busy, but friendly. Multiple choices of food and styles. An older gentleman reccomended we get a couple burritos and I chose the 3 way burrito. It has red sauce pork, green sauce beef and cheese. The thing weight a lot. It was a very runny/wet inside, but wow the flavor was great. The hot sauce that came with it was perfect. You did have to be strategic with your bites. Never got soggy outside.

First timer trying jalapeño bucks. Bought 2 green chili shredded beef burritos. While eating one I found small metallic pieces in the burrito. Very unfortunate flavors were great until I came across the small metallic pieces. Tossed both burritos away.
