The wait wasn’t long maybe 5-10 minutes. The host and server were very friendly and the restaurant wasn’t very busy. We ordered our drinks and food and waited about 30 minutes for our drinks. The drinks were strong and were pretty good. However we waited an hour for our food to arrive and when it did it was all over the place. My spaghetti and meatballs were scorching hot and the meatballs were slightly burnt. My wife’s chicken fettuccine was barely warm at all. The chicken had the best flavor. The spaghetti and meatballs were very bland. Our server apologized for the wait and brought out a tiramisu boxed up for us because of the wait. We didn’t ask for it so it was a very nice gesture.

I’m not sure where to begin. This place has such a great vibe, the music choice is amazing, the staff are so wonderful, a straight 5 star, 10 out of 10. It was my first time at this restaurant and the guy who waited our table was outstanding. The food was to die for and I was not disappointed in anything. If you love Italian food, or just a foodie in general, check this place out!

After a few friends mentioning that Mossuto’s was good, we decided to give it a go on a whim since we were at the Fairwood Farmer’s market. I really wanted to give them a good review, but honestly, it was disappointing. The restaurant had maybe 30 people the entire time we were there. We waited about 5-10 minutes before being seated, which was not bad at all. We then were seated. Our server came by shortly after to ask if we wanted appetizers or drinks. We asked for a few more minutes to browse the menu. When she returned, we ordered our dinner and a cocktail. Shortly after, the host brought over two rolls. I could tell the bread was made from scratch, but it didn’t have a lot of flavor. The butter was cold, so much so you couldn’t really spread it, and the rolls were room temperature. They were pretty average. We waited at least 30 minutes from the time we ordered before our drinks were brought out. I had the lava flow, and my husband had the beach house punch. The lava flow was pretty good. The beach house punch was good, but it was definitely strong. The drinks were a bit pricey, around $14-15 per drink. After an hour of waiting, our food finally came out. We ordered the Tuesday specials ($12 each), spaghetti and meatballs, and chicken fettuccine. My husband’s spaghetti was scorching hot, and the meatballs were slightly burnt. I dipped my bread in the sauce, and it mostly tasted like tomatoes. My fettuccine was dry and honestly tasted more like an olive oil based sauce. I will say that my grilled chicken was really good. My husband said my dish tasted like day old fettuccine. The server brought out a piece of tiramisu to go and apologized for the long wait time. I thought that was a nice gesture. I tried a bite when we got home, and it kind of reminded me of a basic cake with coffee flavoring. I dislike posting reviews like this, but I do feel that honesty is important and that it’s a learning opportunity for the restaurant. I personally won’t be back, but I hope others have a better experience.

This place appears to be intended for an expensive date. Prices are steep for the amount of food given. So don’t come here thinking you’re going to get stuffed off of one dish. Like I said, if you plan on wooooing your date with a expensive meal with smaller portions, then you’re at the right place.

4th time being here and have yet to have anything to be disappointed about. Food was amazing , Lauren, our server, second time having her, is the best. She is helpful, makes great suggestions and is very attentive without feeling like you are being hovered over. Atmosphere is so very warm and inviting. Was here tonight with my mom and we both left feeling very satisfied. Thank you Lauren and hats off to the chef. We had the Chefs choice antipasto plate, Crispy Osso Bucco and Chicken Saltimbocca!!

Fresh ingredients and pasta form the basis for a truly enjoyable meal. The pasta was slightly chewier than I like, but the sauce more than made up for it. Decent appetizer and dessert options and many drink options.

Powerhouse Italian food! House made noodles and sauces packed with favor! We had dinner there last night and were so impressed with the quality of food, service and atmosphere. My Chicken Marsala was packed with a wonderful marsala sauce and plenty of mushrooms and the grilled chicken cutlet was superbly seasoned and juicy. My husband enjoyed the Bolognese with braised meats and veggies in a red chianti sauce, it was even better than mine! Had crispy calamari (a heaping platter) as excellent appetizer and key lime panna cotta… very well done. All served to please. A new favorite for us!

We drive about 45 minutes to have dinner here. The food is amazing. Everything we have had we love. The house made pasta is the main reason we go. We took our aunt while she was visiting town. She hadn’t had fresh made pasta since her mom made it over 16 years ago. She loved it! Make reservations and they are worth the drive.
