I wanted my last meal in Columbus to be a new place. I have heard of this Italian spot many many times and finally decided to go. It def did not disappoint! Went on a Thursday night around 7pm. We got in with no wait and the waitress was so friendly and polite. I ordered the salad which I haven’t seen pasta in before and it was delicious. My boyfriend got the soup and it tasted fresh! The bread and butter was all so good and I’m not a big fan of bread. It was crunchy for the crust but soft for the inside and the butter was so tasteful! I then ordered the Italia plate which was a sample of everything. Def recommend the chicken! The sausage to me has a strong flavor I wasn’t sure if I liked. I ordered Tiramisu too and it was very sweet! I heard the cheesecake is phenomenal though but they sold out.

Moretti’s hosted a group dinner in honor of a recently-passed loved one, and I couldn’t be happier with the choice of venue. Not only was the food spectacular – homemade noodles were delicious and chicken Marsala, divine – but the service was excellent. It was a very busy Friday night, our group of 8 was seated near the kitchen and I observed some very busy servers… which didn’t stop us from having amazing service! Our server also said some very kind words to me at the end of the evening, which I’ll always remember; she actually enjoyed being our server and playing a part in our creating memories and honoring my uncle. Truly first-rate, I’m so glad I chose here, rather than a chain Italian place to save a few bucks.

This place is a hidden gem! Moretti’s is our family’s favorite restaurant, where we celebrate all of our birthdays, anniversary and big life events. This is by far the best Italian restaurant in Columbus. . . From the amazing homemade bread to the freshly made pasta and sauce. Then to end the evening with the best cheesecake ever…. (Don’t tell my Grandma)

The butter and bread are incredible. One of the best salads I’ve ever had. I ordered the Chicken Moretti which was delicious. Generous portion sizes, I easily get 2 servings out of my meal.

A proven fact: some of the most memorable places to eat are often in the most unexpected locations. “Moretti’s” is on a simple sign as part of a strip mall containing a convenience mart, a dive bar, and a (rather wonderful) Indian market among others. Easy to pass by on the insanely busy Sawmill Road. A friend of mine wanted to try this place. I was very reluctant. We had never been there before. We stepped in there, and now it’s a place we’ll never forget. I rarely give five stars to a place but Moretti’s deserves it HANDS DOWN. The appetizers are big enough to be their own meal. The soup is even on point. I tried the Italian Platter with their fresh-made sausage and it was top notch. Warmhearted staff, a hard working owner (Tony), and everything is made to order from scratch. One of the TOP Italian restaurants I’ve been to in the Midwest.

I’ve dined in twice now and had a wonderful experience each time. The Italian Plate, which is something of a sampler, is absolutely brilliant. Hands down best pasta I’ve had; perfectly al dente and clearly fresh, and the sausage is just spicy enough with a hint of sweetness from the fennel. Excellent service, and even when clearly busy had a lovely ambiance. Seems to me there are two kinds of people in this world; people who love Moretti’s and people who haven’t been yet. Highly recommend!

This has been a family favorite for decades. the BEST quality Italian food, literally everything is made from scratch. Unassuming from the outside but an absolute hidden gem. It’s not the most expensive place, but not the cheapest however it is worth every single cent. Portions are HUGE and the quality is unbelievable. Plus every meal comes with bread/butter and salad/soup. Everyone there is so warm and friendly. I seriously can’t say enough about the food, in my opinion the pasta is the absolute best in Columbus

This is one of my favorite Italian restaurants of all times!!! I especially love the Spinach Lasagna with Spicy Italian Sausage … And the Bacon Gorgonzola Salad is a meal in itself. But don’t bother with the Spaghetti or the Pizza… the spaghetti sauce is invariably bland for my tastes, and so is the pizza, and the crust is usually dry, even when you ask for extra sauce. The Classic lasagna is good too. The best part is that they have Draft Peroni and Stella Lagers on Tap.

Very surprised going by the way it looked outside. Food was excellent and portions were large along with the service being great. Didn’t have to wait, we ate at the bar. The only semi disappointment was several booths and tables were empty but was supposedly reserved and we couldn’t sit there.
