We went here for the not-so-obvious-from-outside Pon de Joy mochi donut retail space that opened in June 2023. These are the softest, chewiest donuts with fabulous firm shell toppings bursting with flavor. ⭐️⭐️ ⭐️⭐️

This cafe is wonderful for doing some work or just hanging out with friends! I enjoyed my iced mocha and my friend enjoyed her thai milk tea. They have limited food options, but that is okay. The space is big but they definitely need more furniture to fill it up. There’s free water, games and activities, and a restroom for customers only!

Every time I stop in Malden I love coming by this gem. They have an interesting selection of coffee (and non-coffee) drinks that you don’t find at a lot of other places. The service from the baristas is prompt and kind, and they are skilled coffee artists. Avocado toast is phenomenal. The environment is lovely for hanging out. The bathroom needed a little attention when I last went, which is why the deduction of one star.

I love this place but I think some changes would make a big difference. Switching the menu to simpler food or pastries and baked goods only, decaf coffee, and some changes to the milk tea would really make this place shine. I also think the big donut area should be turned back into seating, donuts make more sense up front and more seating is really helpful

got an iced tiramisu latte with oatmilk; the one i got last time was significantly better. this current drink has the texture of sediment from crushed oreos at the bottom and there’s no reason to call it ‘tiramisu’- there is no cheese foam or cocoa powder to don it that name. pretty disappointed given i paid $8.50 for this and i could’ve gotten a better drink from other coffee places in the greater boston area. other than this mishap, the staff here are very sweet and the vibes here are great for getting some work done.

I have been eyeing this cafe for a while since it opened, had a chance to visit it today. The cafe was clean, big, and had a nice ambience. I had an oat latte and cheese ham sandwich. Not impressed with the coffee. It was cold and bland. The sandwich could have been better, too. Prices are affordable.

The drinks are so good! My order was ready for pickup like 5 mins after I placed the order. The staff is chill and friendly, and I love how big and well-illuminated the space is. Great new addition to downtown Malden! 🙂
