What an amazing restaurant. The customer service from staff and especially Charles was top notch. Our waiter for the evening Charles was so professional and helpful and much respect to him. The food was super delicious and so fresh with extrondiany flavours. The views and atmosphere was magnificent and I would highly recommend others to come here and eat the vast selection of dishes. I definitely would come back and advise others to try. It was a truly lovely experience by the sea. Thank you for the service.

This place brings back memories. It’s been over a decade since the last time I came but the food and views are amazing. We were a part of 7 and seated on the patio. It was such a beautiful day it was perfect. The food was fresh and well seasoned. Our waitress was awesome and very kind. My only complaint was our order. There were a few people who ordered the clam chowder. It should have come out before or with the food but it didn’t. We had to ask multiple times and only one of the 4 was served as we were finishing our meal. As we were about to cancel the other 3, that’s when it finally came out. After we had finished lunch. Something like a soup should not have been that hard to get served in a timely manner.

Don’t get the lobster here if you’re used to eating fresh lobster. I couldn’t eat my lobster roll and I love lobster rolls. Calamari, fries, and surprisingly my sons kids pizza were all good. Strawberry lemonade and latte were great. I did not like my lobster roll and the replacement scallops were just decent. You come here for the view, not the food, in my opinion.

I proposed this weekend 3/25/23 at Moonshadows Malibu! She said YES! And It was the best experience ever!!! I first off want to thank Chad, as I have been calling for 2-4 weeks speaking to him constantly about reserving a specific table facing the beach, also with Moonshadows letting me bring in the photographer I hired as well! We hit some traffic on our way to Moonshadows and our 5pm reservation was moved to 515pm no problem thanks to the amazing team there! Also our waiter Mono was amazing and he was able to get us the food and dessert within the time frame I needed to get the proposal done and get to the front to take pictures before sunset! Not to mention I asked Mono to hold my phone and take a video recording of it and he did it no problem! I absolutely had the best experience proposing at Moonshadows and I highly recommend anyone else thinking of proposing here you should ABSOLUTELY do it!!! THANK YOU MOONSHADOWS AND TEAM FOR HELPING MAKE THIS WEEKEND ONE WE WILL NEVER FORGET!!!

A nice place, and not a crazy expensive as I expected. Stuck with a burger which came with some very interesting chips. The burger wasn’t quite medium rare as requested but that didn’t take away from the taste. The tiramisu was very nice for dessert. The views over the sea are nice, although Malibu doesn’t have crystal clear blue seas as expected. Staff were ok, nothing exceptional. Overall decent.

We love this place and always take our out of town guests and go for special occasions, too. Food is always great and service is attentive and fun! The scallops are ridiculously good!! The only thing I’d suggest is get rid of that “birthday cake” you give out, all 8 guests disliked it. I think it’s a bread pudding cake, just give your guests a good chocolate cake or something that tastes good. The birthday cake you give is always dry and weird. We always know to order different dessert on our own because that thing is thrown away and never eaten by our guests.

This has to be one of the most beautiful restaurants I’ve ever been to. It’s right on the edge of the ocean. The food is delicious, the ambience is great, our server was top notch and the scenery can’t be beat. If possible, try to sit outside to catch the sunset.
