There are meals you eat…

Joe’s Crab Shack at the Branson Landing gave us a moment.
From the second we sat down, the whole place felt alive — lake breeze coming through the windows, sunlight bouncing off the water, and Lacie, our server, greeting us like we’d been coming here for years. She never rushed us, never overlooked a thing, and treated us with the kind of warmth you can’t teach.
We started with their Blue Hawaiian pints — the “Who Gives a Ship” and the “I’d Hit That.”
Listen… if joy had a color, it would be that blue. Cold, bright, refreshing — the kind of drink that makes you stop mid-sip and smile.
The calamari came out next, golden and crisp, seasoned just right. Then the entrées landed, and that’s when this turned into a full experience.

JCS continues to be a solid institution of amazing seafood combined with phenomenal service wherever I go. I find myself here in Branson Missouri due to craving some without a location in Louisiana any longer. Branson delivered and then some. Our experience was definitely memorable and flavorful with amazing crab, quality cocktails combined with world class service. Our server was a lovely young lady named Aspen and she went above and beyond in all aspects to make our dinner perfect.
If I get the chance I would frequent here again had I lived in the area.

I absolutely loved the food!! Also the waiter was so nice and really helpful! The only complaint that I have is that in my Crab and Shrimp Dip there was a small fiber I’m guessing from a shirt or smthn but like I said absolutely delicious and I ordered the Joe’s Sampler. ☺️

First of all, for the price the food was not good. My husband and little son shared a crab boil which was $48 and had no flavor and was skimpy on the portion size. I got crab/Parmesan crusted salmon and as someone who barely salts their food, I had to douse it in salt to taste anything. But our food wasn’t the only issue-the waitress finally gives us the check. Our bill was $95 and some cents. I was going to give her a $10 tip, which is low I know, but for the terrible food and service I feel like it was better than nothing. We are normally good tippers too, we will tip $20 on a $40-50 bill. But anyway we wait and wait cause we want to use our card and our waitress walks by about 6 times and ignores us and we try to get her attention by waving calling out, etc. So finally after 20 mins of just waiting to pay our bill I leave $100 cause how was I supposed to pay with my card if she won’t come cash us out. So she only got a $4 tip but that was her fault. Oh and we also got no drink refills and didn’t get checked on the whole time. Terrible food and service for the price.

We came on a Saturday for dinner after a cheer competition. The wait was 45 minutes. Once we finally were seated it took over 30 minutes to get our drinks. The restaurant was busy but our server barely checked on us even though he checked on multiple other customers. Informed the manager about it and he said that he would take care of it. Later he brought another tables food to ours and awkwardly left and brought it to the right table. When our food finally arrived it was luke warm, probably because it sat while the server waited other tables. Terrible service, bad food, and definitely not worth $80. Wouldn’t recommend this location to anyone

I would rate this higher if they weren’t so stingy on the crab clusters. I got the crab feast and it looked more like a crab snack. The food was okay probably rate a 3 out of 5. But the portion size for the most expensive crab meal was a joke.
